The Avalanche sold out 487 games in a row. Pretty sure that's the record.

Don't know about that, for the Habs and Leafs to crush it they would have to keep selling out for like 10 more seasons.

What was the highest Detroit ever got to? I would think they would be up there, but could be wrong...

Yeah, well I think there might be a couple organizations who would say otherwise.

As of February 13, 2008 here are the top 5.

1. Minnesota Wild - 274 games
2. Vancouver Canucks -202 games
3. Toronto Maple Leafs - 183 games
4. Calgary Flames - 155 games
5. Montreal Canadiens - 127 games

Current Active Streak BTW.

They ought to change their name to something like the Condors to get more sellout crowds.

I don't understand.

When exactly was the last time the Leafs didn't sell out?
Doesn't the entire season always sell out moments after tickets go on sale?
Hasn't it been this way for dozens of years?

If the leafs don't sell out every game, how come I can never get tickets?

I don't get how the Leafs had a game that was not a sellout since I was a kid(early 80's). You can never get a ticket. I find it hard to beleive. I do understnad that they do release single tickets on game day, and they use to release standing room only on game day at MLG.

183 games is still impressive for the Leafs. We all know the teams that continue to have large crowds. The streak is meaningless imo and i just hope these teams continue to bring the crowds in. The more sell outs there are the better it is for the NHL.
