Hey thx for putting my new avatar together Digger, you're a whiz!

Would it be too much to ask to get a police uni on him and maybe a grumpier look? J/K

Thanks to everyone for all their positive comments on my off-the-wall Rita post.

That was fun to write. Too bad he didn't play - MacT would be on his way to TO right now.

This was one of those games where you are happy about the win, but less than happy with the on-ice product. Lets face it - without Salo, this was not a 5-2 win.
Good games from Smyth, Horcoff, Salo, Ulanov, Smith and Staios. Dvo looks lost without Yorkie, but he works hard enough to get through that. Torres was a little less effective than I would have liked.

Bishai did not look out of place at all. He could be a 4th liner.

At the same time, when was the last time we could say "Without Salo..." with any consistency.

Loved Ulanov's hit. That was simply a clean, yet totally merciless EL-KABOMB!!

We should trade for that Thornton kid and get rid of Laraque. It's clear to me, even though he now has 1 (one) goal, he isn't the same Georges.

No playoffs without Mike York though...that and the two Nashville games sealed the deal. Time to play for pride.

For the person who asked about the fights:

Smith-Moen: Not much happened here, refs broke it up before any punches were thrown.

Laraque-Thornton: Laraque tried his usual huggy-bear tactics and this kid suprised him; Thornton was really agressive and got in the better of the shots exchanged, although he did no damage to Laraque whatsoever, as evidenced by the post-game interview.

Horcoff-Henry: So, apparently, Horcoff fights now. Well, luckily he picked a scrap with a decent guy, because after landing a soft punch and falling to the ice, he was completely prone and open to some free shots. Henry let up and the refs came in.

EDIT: Speaking of Georges goal - I have my doubts his stick even touched the puck...anyone see a clear replay of his deflection?

Maybe the booth guys felt sorry for Georges.

They've been playing that every time since his first one. Any gimmick they can find.

I used to have a Cartman avatar, I loved that thing!

What does it say about a person when his 3 biggest role models are 1)Al Bundy, 2)Homer and 3) Cartman?
