Seven things I like about the Blue Jacket Experience

1. The Cannon. It's way cool.

2. The Bud Light ...they ran a jumbotron video during the 2nd period v Chicago showing the Beer being made over at the Schrock Road Brewery the morning of the game, and being trucked over for the game. That was cool... and tasty. I love sipping a beer (or two) during the game.

3. Pazzy's little dance to scrape the crease after the Zamboni has gone over it. I wonder what tune he hums as he dances?

4. Jared Boll slowing down by smashing backwards into the glass. Someday he's going to go right through it.

5. Watching Footer beat the crap out of some schmuck with his forearm (I know, I mention this a lot, but it happens right in front of us and I love it).

6. Watching the girls in the crowd. Hockey brings out the best.

7. Coach Hitchcock. He's the most entertaining and surprising Blue Jacket we got.

Hopefully in the near future (next year) we'll be getting a lot more free chili and you can add that as number 8

The R-Bar. Makes wins seem bigger than they were, and losses seem not quite as bad as they were

#10. Easy to get tickets. I haven't paid face value all season. (I'm serious about this. It's easy and cheap to sit in the upper bowl. Imagine being a fan in Toronto or Detroit).

Yep, I was up there once. Yep we sit on the same side as the cameras so almost never get on (it's much better for everyone else in the arena that way ) unless the game is televised then the reverse angle camera gets us.

I was pretty sure that was you, cuz I remember at the Crunch game you were the only guy on that side of the ice to cheer for Syracuse.
Great game tonight btw.
I sat right behind Wall with my Russian Ovechkin jersey on. (3-0 now when I wear that)

1. The Cannon. It's only been here for a year, but I wish we'd had it a long time ago. It adds a punch to the arena experience we were missing.

2. Rick Nash. I've always enjoyed watching him skate, even just in warmups or watching practices now and then at the Ice Haus. Plus all the things he does in the community.

3. The civil war theme - it makes it feel like there really is something more to the team.

4. Jared Boll being a maniac.

5. Pazzy. There are nights when I'm stunned at how the hell he managed to make some of his saves.

6. George Matthews on the play by play - I love listening to George call games if I'm not in a good place to watch it. Even during some of our most boring, cap'n hooking, Lyle Odelining years, he made it sound exciting.

7. Nik Zherdev - watching him score, and the way he reacts, is fantastic. He's not quite an Ovechkin-guys-I'm-Gonna-Have-A-Seizure-On-The-Ice-Celebrating, but he definently gets pumped up and this year, he's been sharing that with the guys each time it happens.

The chili isn't really free since you have to buy something just to get it

Chi-town game? I almost bought tickets for that. I'm so glad I didn't because it would have been the last time I stepped foot in NWA because I would have tossed a beer on the ice at the end of the first period and would have gotten banned.

Well, actually... I probably would have finished the beer and instead thrown a key chain... you know car keys, house keys... maybe an effin' tire chain. OK... it would have been a monkey wrench... it'd hit Jeff right in the face.
