last time we played Anaheim in LA, they completly dominated the 2nd period. Obviously the Stars have to play much better then that (and much better then they did in the first) to have a chance in this one.
Go Stars

Robidas scores a goal and then saves one on the PK.

The Anaheim play-by-play guys were calling him Kyle Barch last year too. What's the deal?

Well Dallas seems to be loosing the physical battle, but they're makin' the Ducks pay by scoring goals on the PP. Let's hope they can put another one in on a 5 on 3.

And just like that, with 8:32 to play, they're right back in it. Kunitz makes it 3-2 Dallas with a lot of time on the clock. Went off Grossman's skate and into the net.

STARS WIN!

Dallas wins for the 8th time in their past 9 games...and also beat Anaheim for the 5th time out of 6 meetings this year.

1st period wasn't as good as I'm sure, the Stars would've hoped but they settled down in the 2nd and won it in behind the stick of Stephane Robidas.

Two points, is two points and Dallas wins it.

Now with Ott reaching 10 goals, it's the eighth on the team.

Up Next to reach 10 goals(possibly).
Lehtinen 8, Barnes 8, Eriksson 6, Niskanen 6 and Robidas 6

You know it wasnt very extreme but I think Pronger should get a 1 game suspension for that last slash on Ott. I know it wasnt much but that is the kind of thing they need to stop. Its those kind of blatant hits like what Jack Johnson did in the world juniors a couple of years ago where he threw a dirty elbow at the canadian player as the other scored the empty netter. I am not one who thinks fighting should be taken out or the hits are too violent. But that slash was not meant to try to stop him from scoring. It was meant to hurt. I know Pronger is a goon and he wouldnt learn but that senseless violence doesnt belong.

I didn't think it was that bad, Class1723, but I see your point. If it was on another player other than Ott, maybe, but it's extremely doubtful the NHL would suspend a superstar in Pronger for slashing a goon/former goon Ott.

With these two, San Jose must win 4 of the 5 games in hand to pass the Stars.
