The blank spot below the names is where you put the reasoning why each team would make this deal.

Fahey has much more value than Malik, while Hannan would easily command more in return alone.

Since you are unable to provide any attempt at reasoning for the Sharks, this proposal is hopeless. Hope you enjoy the other replies.

To Vancouver - Brodeur, Elias and a 1st in 2004
To New Jersey - 7th round pick in 2007

The Canucks make out like bandits! Yessssssssssssssssss!

That's horrible reasoning. Take it from the Sharks' perspective. They'd like to trade Alex Korolyuk for Todd Bertuzzi, it would be a good deal for them, right?

No way do the Sharks go for this. Umberger is nice n all but no way does San Jose even think about dealin Hannan unless is serious overpayment.

Ya think it would be good for them? Cuz I know it makes San Jose worse.

No, I agree with Burke that we don't give into Umberger & trade him so that kills that trade idea. As a Canuck fan I would consider PG's suggestion of Korolyuk for Bertuzzi though. At least for a few seconds anyway.

How about Fahey, Davidson for Malik, Umberger then?

Might be some groundwork for a Fahey and Umberger trade. I just wanna see Fahey get some icetime...hes a good one. Malik, I think, would be of no interest to the Sharks and Davison rocks (can drop people with his fists and actual help on the ice when he isnt fightin).

Hmmm, Interesting, does Fedorov for Fahey sound like a possibility?

No. San Jose gets hosed. From what I'm seeing, Federov is on the decline, wasting away in the minors because he can't get his game (and act) together. Fahey is the complete opposite. So yeah....San Jose gets hosed.

Hannan is worth more than Malik & Umberger combined.

No on Feds for Fahey, the Sharks don't need a offenseman his age. He would be behind players like Boyes, Michalek, Goc, etc.

Okay, how about this:

To San Jose: Artem Chubarov, RJ Umberger
To Vancouver: Mike Ricci

I don't see why San Jose would trade Ricci, but hey, I can dream can't I?

I think that's a bit of an overpayment on the Canucks' side(although it's unilikely the Sharks trade Ricci anyway). I'd love to get Ricci and Davison for that package. I'd probably throw in a draft pick as well.
