GDT: CBJ at Blues, 6 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 17, FSN Ohio (HD) (Road Trip Part 2 edition)

6-1!

Yeah, we got a much-needed road win at Detroit after that Chicago spanking at Nationwide Arena, but there's no time for cruising down the road. We need to keep our foot on the gas and avenge the next bad thing on the list, and that's this horrid five-goal loss in the last trip to Missouri on Jan. 8. For that matter, the rematch days later in Columbus was 6-4, so the defense got worked on there, too.

Again, this GDT ain't fancy, because it worked Friday and we're going to roll this way again and keep the good karma going. And while ain't ain't a word, winning is, and we need to go for two in a row, preferably by avoiding a three-point game as we need all the help we can get in this attempt to fight back into the top eight and fend the others off.

Now let's make St. Louis sing their own team name and not walk backwards into Canada.

Just a question to throw out there, I have Time Warner and HD/Digital Cable, yet I cannot get FSN in Hd. I get every other station in HD like ESPN, HBO, Showtime, etc. But no FSN. Anybody else have this problem? I turn it on FSN and it's just a black screen. Oh well, I say Jackets 2-0, Boll and Modin put pucks in the net for us.

Which Time Warner system are you on? Mid-Ohio, or elsewhere?

Sticking with the Dancing Kevin avatar because I still believe.

Don't think we'll see the offenive explosion we saw in Detriot, but we skate out with a 3-1 win.

As far as I know (or at least how it works for me), FSN HD isn't a full-time station, it's only used for the games. The rest of the time it's either black or has some kind of HD teaser.

It would be nice to see the team that showed up in Deeeetroit and not the one that didnt show up vs Chicago. I have no prediction. You just never freaking know with this team.

St. Louis needs this one bad, it may be there Watershed game here... But due to everyone that we needed to lose winning last night, our guys better be playing like there careers depended on it...

close game. 3-2 Jackets... Pascal has pretty much owned St. Louis this year, but the Blues tie the score up in the third before an overtime goal wins it.

Take the over on the Noel Goal Ceiling.

Have a feeling that the team that played Chicago will show up today. They have trouble puting two good games together.

Only 20 Jacket games are in HD.

Jackets 4, Blues 2. The Jackets continue to drive us crazy.

I'm curious to see what impact Feds has on the team in his return. I'm hoping for a nice shot in the arm that will propel the team to a run before the trade deadline.

4-2 Jackets.

Not possible.

Yep, those offensive juggernauts like Matt Cooke and Alexandre Burrows could really help him find his game.

I'm just hoping for another stellar performance by Pazzy. I'm still holding ill will in regards to the ASG, and it would be nice to beat Osgood and Legace back-to-back.

Those are typically the games we lose, especially after the big win over Detroit, but I'm going to remain optimistic and go:

Jackets 3 (Nash x2, Tarnstrom)
Blues 2 (Boyes x2)

I'm not sure if we'll get Legace tonight. He got absolutely peppered with shots by Nashville last night and might need a break.

We need a monstrous effort. We HAVE TO get an extending winning streak if we are going to make the playoffs, no better time than now.
