Know that any replica jersey bought from shop.nhl.com is terrible quality. The namebar and numbers on the jersey will be silk screened on there. It is terrible quality. I wouldn't waste my time.

Since the search was disabled, I was unable to find this one guy's post on HF where he showed pictures of his Matthew Lombardi jersey. Basically gave great detail on the "lettering" that NHL.com provides on the replica jerseys and how it would be a let down for the serious jersey collectors.

Yeah the replicas that Ive seen at Staples center are terrible.

But how are the authentics coming out? Anyone here bought those...the $249 Reebok Edge jerseys and had them customized? I would like to know how those are coming out.

Good looking out, I forgot they screen the names on. I was close to snagging a Rick Nash but now to hell with it.

The authentics should have everything sewn on.....then again, I'm not the type who likes to shell out $250 for a jersey even if it's customized.

Here's NHL.com's own FAQ about their lettering: http://shop.nhl.com/include/jerseyguide.jsp

If you want a replica jersey but with authentique stitching I know a place like icejerseys.com and triplethreatsports.com use authentique stitching even on replica jerseys, if you were interested.
