Helpless to do much about it since he and Jaromir Jagr weren't playing on the same line at the time, Brandon Dubinsky seethed from the bench as he watched Montreal defenseman Mike Komisarek spend shift after shift pounding on the Rangers' captain on Feb.3 .

Tuesday, Dubinsky will get the opportunity to give a physical vent to his frustration. Don't be surprised if left wing Sean Avery also makes it his mission to get in hard on the forecheck against the Canadiens' West Islip product.

"I'm definitely going to be physical on him - I'm not going to let him off the hook ever," Dubinsky said of Komisarek. "I can't say if anything's going to happen. But he's definitely going to be hearing it from me if he's taking any liberties or cheap shots. That's for sure.

"As far as Jags goes, hockey's a physical game. Guys are going to get hit. He's going to get hit, too. But I'll be in there on the forecheck. I'll be in there if I need to be if anything happens."
Oh man, I'd keep my comments to myself if I was talking about Komo. As for Holweg, watch Begin mess him up something nasty. Rags are more pests than bullies. I have no problems matching their physical game with ours.

I wonder if Hollweg and Dubinsky are aware that the Refs are aware of their threats and will be watching them like hawks. These idle threats actually work in the Habs favour.

Oh ok..phew I thought you had heard it recently.

It's been reported from several different media's that Carbo is going with the same line up he did against the Flyers.

I always like the games against the Rangers. I try to attend to one of their matchups at least once a year. I've been to the February 3rd game this year....
Man, I would pay 300$ for this freakin' game tonight. Too bad I have to work.... argh

If you read the rest of the dailynews article, Dubi thankfully knows he has to avoid taking any dumb penalties for the good of the team. Hollweg on the other hand, I can see taking numerous stupid and selfish penalties. Anyway, your building is definitely one of the best atmospheres in the NHL, looking forward to a great game tonight.

GO HABS GO! Time to get one back from these bums.

Here's to a habs victory and to KOMI not only pounding Avery into the boards during the game, but pounding Avery's EX-GF after the game!

I said after the last game that Avery was a moron to say all that stuff about Komo when we had to play them once more. (Not that I didn't already realize Avery was a moron).

Any chance RDS has a mic on #8 tonight?

Let's win tonight ... and if O'Byrn put the HogWegde or whatever his name is though the glass, it's a bonus.

I'm pretty sure he was, but that was the last one he played before he was out. Definitely not one of his better games, but he may well have been pretty sick already.

I think we gonna win this one because anybody want to be sweep. We're more talented and smarter than bums like Avery and Hollwegg. I think it's gonna be a Kovalev show against his former team. 3-2 win and a hat trick by Kovy. Another prediction here: 1st NHL fight by Lapierre against Avery. I think O'byrne could drop agaisnt Hollweg, but I hope for a Bouillon-Orr part 2. Playoff hockey tonight!!!
