Wow, classy and wise moves by those Rangers players. Expecting some sparks to fly tonight. Glad O'Byrne's in the lineup.

Wow. Just Wow. Think everyone is talking about you? I don't think you're that special...

Pretty sure he was talking about Hollweg.

Hollweg must be stupid. There are 20 easier targets on the Habs than Kovalev. You know Kovy has a mean streak in him when it comes to pukes like Hollweg/Tucker/etc. Looking forward to it!

Unfortunately Kovalev won't be in the press box tonight so I'm not quite sure when Hollweg plans on exacting his revenge...

By coming out like that, Hollweg is putting himself on the spot.
If he does something stupid, the league will be on his ass much harder.

When people say that Sergei should go destroy Hollweg, I just can't have something else in mind than the pictures of the Kostitsyns in a night club that someone posted on these boards few weeks ago...

Will be interesting to see what the puke Hollweg does tonight. I think his remarks are counter productive as they may raise the level competitiveness in the Habs players tonight. I just hope that the team hits him at every opportunity, without getting out of position of course. Or, a couple Georges-Vandermeer encounters occur tonight.

Hollweg is doing his job well. He's a fourth line scrub trying to get into the heads of our scoring line. Hopefully it has the reverse effect and we go on the PP all night.

Hollweg's got it wrong. In Montreal, the saying is "What go around, come back."

Yes but what goes around can't come back because it's already there.

I have no problem with that just as long as he doesn't do it with his stick or his elbows.

I think Kovalev likes this kind of thing. Hollweg is a half-pint. Big mistake to fire up Alexei Kovalev imo. The gameplan should always be to try and let him sleep.

Both teams are playing hard lately though, so I expect a tough, well-played game. Montreal has got to have a burr under it's saddle remembering the last game in NY.

Being a Rangers fan i am worried that Hollweg might try to take a run at Kovalev and get called for a major. Your PP is to good to give them that kind of opportunity. Personally i hope he nails him with a hard, CLEAN check and that will be the end of it. Kovalev deserves it after the cheap shot to chin.

And i would really love to know why you guys think Kovalev is such a bad ass. Cause he is good at throwing elbows? Praising him for giving out cheap shots and condemning other players is a bit hypocritical. He is not a tough guy by any means. Saying Kovalev is tough is like saying Hollweg is goal scorer.

I think what Hollweg really needs to ask himself before trying to go after Kovalev is.... This guy (Kovalev) has been in the league a while.... I've never heard of him fighting before... is it because he can't or (most likely) because he's a mean S O B and no one wants to go near him.

If he's smart he'll just keep his head up and not go into an area where anyone with a K in their name is...

Kovalev is tough. You don't have to drop your gloves or throw huge hits to be considered tough.

Kovalev is a big guy who can take punishment and dish it out with his stick and elbows if need be. I'm sure it didn't happen out of the blue, it's just that we don't know what Hollweg did to start the whole business.

Montreal loves this kind of stuff though, as you say. Put us on the powerplay all day and we'll beat you. I'm also looking forward to watching Komisarek plant Hollweg into the glass. You know it's going to happen.

Hollweg's a idiot. Doesn't he know that when you make Kovy mad, he plays 3 times as well? Besides, he has no chance of getting the better of Kovalev unless his stick is involved. They could play 1000 games and he'd never catch him with a clean hit that did any damage.
