Wow. You know nothing. HD-DVD is dead. Toshiba pulled the plug a few days ago.

Ryder So happy for the guy, still don't understand all the hate for him. I still hope we keep him and he doesn't get on the pressbox again this year. That's Smolinski's earned spot!

Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight..... Bluray isn't owned by Disney...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bluray

The patents are majorily owned (and was developed) by Sony and Pioneer.

The bluray association is made of :

Sony, Matsu****a, Pioneer, Philips, Thomson, LG Electronics, Hitachi, Sharp, and Samsung.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blu-ray_Disc_Association

Disney are ONLY a company which has signed to be on the bluray revolution...

With time, their wants will mean zilch...

Now, Mr Gazoo is green for a reason, he likes grass a lot.

And if you did read the news, you'd know like Natey2k, that HDDVD is DEAD

""On February 14, 2008, rumors surfaced that Toshiba, the leading manufacturer of HD DVD players and one of its largest supporters, would soon abandon the HD DVD format due to changes in studio and retailer affiliations, including Wal-Mart's decision to phase out HD DVD by June 2008[3][4]. The rumours strengthened on February 16 when NHK and Reuters also reported, from a source at Toshiba, that they had begun to prepare to cease production of HD DVD equipment[5], though they would still support existing products. On February 19, 2008, Toshiba made an official announcement to no longer develop, manufacture and market HD DVD players and recorder, ending the optical disc formats: Blu-ray Disc versus HD DVD format war.""

Long time in coming...Ryder Appreciation Thread!

The guy has had a bad year, but he has played good hockey they last few games.

Let's give it up to the guy, it could be the last one...plus in all reality he is what turned this team around against the Rangers tonight!

He deserves it.

Crazy thing is if he stays with the team and Carbo actually plays him and he keeps his pace he could still salvage a 20 goal season!

Not to mention his +/- is now at -1!

Sharks and Stars GMs are picking up the phone right now.

I hear Brett Hull is willing to offer the rights to Janne Niinimaa.

Michael has been playing great ever since rumours started floating around about Dan making his return a few weeks ago.

I think it's safe to say that something was bothering the Ryder family.. and now that it's over, Michael Ryder is the same god he was for the 82nd game of last year!

Streit is Montreal's unsung hero of the night. 3 points! The Ryder shot wasn't going in without his screen/unintentional deflection

Just wanted to brag about my NOSTRADAMUS credibility.
A few days ago in the thread "Ryder's last game in Mtl?"
I predicted a Ryder hot streak :

http://hfboards.com/showthread.php?t=479745&page=3
QUOTE FROM GUAPO23 :

"Ryder has been playing well but not scoring a lot.
I predict he is due for a hot streak and will put up a lot of points in the next few games !

His defensive game is way better and he is shooting on target again.
He is getting open in the high slot to shoot the puck.

He still has to work on not turning it over so easily in the offensive zone.

But all in all, I predict he will go on a hot streak !"
