Call it lame and original all you want. It got Bert on TV getting mad over a sign and that in itself is hillarious to fans of 29 teams in the league. All it did was show, once again, that Bertuzzi is a big baby.

And now the flaming will start.
Reign Nateo, why way in when if you don't find it funny?

So much for a light-hearted thread, all but impossible.........

I like "Ruutu wears a tutu" myself, but this one is good too. Still, nothing beats "Chelios, you're uglier than Ricci".

Will there ever be a thread about Bertuzzi where you don't use this line? You must really hate Bertuzzi, but I can't blame you, he did knock out two of your top 3 defense over the last two seasons!

Anyway, I agree it's a pretty unorginal sign considering there were Canucks fans that used that sign with Blues players instead during the Canucks-Blues series last season.

This thread should just be closed I guess, every sign has been done once before even if it was in the 1956 high school basketball tournament between South Hampton and Rockensville.

Settle down. It's just a stupid sign. No need to get upset about it.

Bert was laughing it off. Its hard to tell whether or not the big guy is having a good time, but i'm sure he was with that ''guppy'' fan.

Uh, Bert wasn't getting angry.

I was watching it on Sportsnet as it was happening, he was just shaking his head like 'you should be ashamed, you've got a kid and your setting a bad example'.

Then after some jawing he turned around smiling, and then started shaking his ass at the guy.

It's 'weigh in' and all I did was state my opinion, which is what boards like this are for. I think Degroat's comments would be the one to "start a war." Bertuzzi laughed, I laughed, but it was hardly worth its own thread, there are many funnier signs out there and that is what I was trying to say.

Bertuzzi is by far my favorite non Devil player and I thought that was hilarious. It would have been cooler if he just laughed his ass off at it rather than talking to the guy about "setting a bad example for his kid." Come on...kids see, hear and read worse when they're with their friends.

Funny stuff.

And that's exactly my point... and it certainly wasn't classy to shoot the puck at her (not him, BTW).

It seems as though you're looking for reasons to pick at Bertuzzi. While he could have handled the situation differently, he did nothing wrong. Neither did the guy with the sign.

It would have been cooler if he laughed it off and joked with the fans but he chose to say what he said to the guy. Oh well.

Bertuzzi really shouldn't have gotten upset over that, it was all in good fun. just the fact that he garners so much attention from another team's fans is a compliment more than it is anything else.

Who said Bertuzzi got upset over it? He's smiling in the caption...
Only guy who said he was upset over it is someone who has an obvious hatre toward the Canucks and it's really his/and his lady friend's side of the story anyways.

No, all it shows is the unoriginality of Blues fans.

When I put myself in your shoes, I can see why you hate Bertuzzi, if somebody from another team took out our top 2 defenceman (Jovo & Ohlund) with huge hits I'd hate them too.

I thought it was a guy when I first saw the pic also... Perhaps Bert thought it was a guy as well... I don't think that he would shoot the puck at a her... but who knows...

IMO, it is pretty sad to see that sign next to a little kid... Not that the sign is that bad or anything (personally, I don't even find it funny)... but she's pretty much telling her kid that it's ok to make fun of others... I don't think that anyone with common sense would intentially teach a little kid that.

Maybe Bert was thinking along the same lines...

Yeah, but shooting the puck at her wasn't smart either.

Agreed

Bert isn't widely known for being overly smart... thus my username and avatar... going for the irony angle :p

This is the stupidest thread ever. First it's talking about how funny it is... then it's taking free shots at Bertuzzi.

That's what I'm thinkin' too. Geez, Bertuzzi is hated in 29 other cities and I hardly think St. Loo's fans merit 'special' attention.

Check that grin out on his face. A picture says a thousand words.

Like someone said earlier, he's probably thinking: "Go back to yer trailer... yuk, yuk."
