You pitch to Utley, walking him to get to Howard is foolish, especially with the short porch in Yankee Stadium. The key isn't Utley or Howard, because one of the two are going to hurt you, you just hope both don't get going at the same time. You need to get Rollins and Victorino out first and foremost. Those two cannot be allowed to get on base for Utley or Howard. If I get through a game with just one RBI on a solo home run from one of Utley or Howard, that's a win. Like it or not you have to pitch to these guys, especially with a guy like Werth sitting in the 5 slot and all you can do is try to make sure no one is on base when you have to.

At this point, I would only recommend they pitch to Utley if there is no one on base. It doesn't matter that Howard can possibly hurt you. Fact of the matter is he's been downright awful in this series and that's the guy you try to get out.

This. You are really picking better of the 2 evils here. Right now I would rather see Yanks take chances with Howard than Utley who is raking. No disrespect to Howard who is a great player but right now he is 3-19 with 12 Ks in this series.

Does anyone else have a frozen visual feed on Fox? It's been like this for over five minutes.

Could you guys freaking win tonight so I can stop paying attention to the two teams I hate more than anything?

What the hell song was Mary J Blige just singing. It sure as hell wasn't the national anthem but it did have all the same words I think.

Joe West has been an *** pig tonight. I've been watching pitch track and it speaks for itself. He is single handidly trying to hand this game to the Phillie's, no question.

I noticed the same thing. The fact that he is so anti-Yankee that it shows in his umpiring is disgusting. I hope he is fired after his awful umpiring.

Between the umpiring and Buck ignoring bad calls against the Yankees. Than calling "caught the outside corner" on pitches a foot of the plate, when the Yankees are batting. I'm about to go ballistic.

There was one inning where Andy, no matter where he placed the ball, just wasn't getting strikes called. I'm happy he went up to West and chewed him out.

Disgraceful by the West.

Congrats, Yankees fans.

At least the Phillies didn't win again.

Hopefully the Mets get new, competent ownership...

Get me Matt Holliday, Jason Bay, Victor Martinez, and Roy Halliday for the Mets... and another subway Series.
