Jokinen, meanwhile, seems likely to stay put despite overtures from several teams trying to land the Panthers captain for a playoff run. This weekend, majority owner Alan Cohen reportedly repeated his promise to keep Jokinen.
Martin is not the type to get bent out of shape about getting things done. It's not his style. Plus, not it's like Jokinen will be free agent in the summer, there's no panic to trade him at all cost in fear of losing him. Don't get me wrong Jokinen is moving but it will happen in the summer.
(I just wish the Habs would bet involved but if we give the moon for Hossa, there would be nothing left for Jokinen...dammit!)
