I think it's great. Maybe the Rags should try some team bonding.

You said they look gay, I said so does Bertuzzi.
Bertuzzi is married to a woman, so are a lot of Flames.

This thread can't get more immature.

I didn't say he is gay, I said his sideburns look gay. Yes, the thread has turned immature.

Just as long as they don't dye those 'staches green to match their green hard hats... I'm okay.

On a personal preferance note: I hate 'staches... goatees are where it's at.

boo to goats. they are a 30 year old's last stab at pretending he is hip and cool before he gives in to middle age. i guess you could say that the goatee is the precursor to the mid-life crisis red sports car. and i apologize to any of the posters who are currently sportin' the goat, but seriously, give it up.

i just realized how very, very little my post had to do with hockey. i apologize. actually, this whole thread has veered of into some sort of no-man's land of facial hair and quasi-homosexual references.

Iginla looks very different with the 'stache, Rhett Warrener is the only guy who can pull it off IMO. Team Bonding eh? Are they going to shave them off together in unison as well?

I think they shave them off tomorrow actually. I'm not positive though.

I don't think the Sens can insult any teams and the way they look. Their captain looks like Fozzie the Bear and Krusty the Klown in a wacky bundle. Not to mention Alfie sports staches frequently. :p

The hardhat is great. Alfie should take hairstyling tips from Sopel.

Moustaches, eh?

That's got to be the Rhett Warrener effect. I knew he'd make his mark in Calgary

WTF! since when did 30 become middle aged??? Middle aged is more like 45. If you think that thirty is middle aged then I guess 40 year olds should be eligible for old age pension.

Actually I believe it's a tribute to Lanny MacDonald. Though I suppose it could have been Warrener's idea.

I saw Kipprusoff is sporting one now as well...though all he had to do was shave the bottom part of his goatee, heh.

Rhett rules.

On another note, has Turek grown the moustache? I haven't seen any press from him. Whatever, he still sucks. The number of bad goals he's let in since he's come back is astroginorminoextraordanical. At least a good 6 in the games he's been in, not including tonights mother of a stinker.

I'm aware that someone mentioned it was because of Lanny. I'm just playing about the Rhett thing anyhow. I knew he was all about the staches when he was in Buffalo. I could definately see him getting that started for the Flames. That's all I meant by it

Zoidberg. I love Rhett and want him back.. can you make that happen? What are you looking for in return? hehe..

i never said 30 was middle age, but from that point, it is at least in sight. therefore, the goatee is a "precursor" to middle age, not an indicator. all i am saying is that the goatee is laying the groundwork for a rough descent into the surefire crisis that is to come in 10 years.

so for those 30 year olds that have them, it's a pre-cursor to middle age your saying....HOWEVER, what if, say....Myself...a 22 year old has one? THEN what? OH, and what IF I just shaved off a months worth of beard? HUH!?!? PUNK! :p

Personally, I think the mustaches are great...that's my next endevour .....just for my girlfriends 80's theme party .....Alllllllllllriiiiiiiiiiight...

Hey Bertuzzi is one of the few men in hockey that i know that can come out in the 1st period with a beard, shave inbetween periods, 2nd period clean shaven and then start the 3rd period with a full on beard again. He grows facial hair so fast, he is like a damn Chia pet!
But i have to say Iggy's stache is terrible!!
