That stat really jumps out at you. More the reason the Rangers need to score first..

Thomas Vanek, Jochen Hecht, Paul Gaustad and Derek Roy were each missing from today’s practice. Coach Lindy Ruff would not disclose the ailments of the four players. They are all injured or sick but Ruff wouldn't go into specifics. Some are getting X-rays today and more information will be available Saturday.

Mike Ryan, who injured his groin against the Leafs, was also not on the ice. He is listed as doubtful for Saturday's matchup with Chris Drury and the New York Rangers.

Maxim Afinogenov and Drew Stafford remain out of practice, still suffering from injuries.
There's the Sabres injury list for you.

Vanek, Gaustad, Roy all appear ready to go. Hecht, on the other hand, seems like he won't be playing.

6-0 Rangers

edit: if that's true, and Hecht is a no-go, I expect our lines to look like:

Vanek - Roy - Kotalik
MacArthur - Connolly - Pominville
Paille - Gaustad - Paetsch
Gragnani - Mair - Kaleta

Expect Mair to play next to Gaustad in place of Paetsch, and a center to double-shift centering the 4th line on their occasional shift.

We haven't won IN Buffalo since Nov 22, 05.. and that was with Weekes in net.

Lundqvist has never won at HSBC. Let's change that tonight.

I'm stuck in Long Island and most likely will be around a bunch of Sabres fans tonight. Let's get this done boys. I'm in enemy territory surrounded... at least give me bragging rights. We need a FULL 60 minute effort. Hit any Sabre with the puck all night long. Forecheckers: Get in on the puck. Their defense does not like to be hit and rushed. LET'S GO RANGERS!!!!

Hopefully Drury and Dubinsky keep up their redhot play and net a few for a Ranger win.
