Habs. No doubt about it.

If Team Canada loses it's not as bad as seeing the Habs lose, for me.

I root for Switzerland. My team ain't in international competition. Maybe in 2110. So The Habs.

Habs and its not even a question. We follow the Canadiens 365 days a year, every year. Team Canada is great for 3 weeks every year (World Jrs and World Championships), and another 2 weeks every 4th year.

At the last Olympics, I found Canada extremely difficult to cheer for. There were suspect choices like Bertuzzi and McCabe. Also, there were guys that I hate in general, like Pronger, Thornton and Brodeur. I found myself cheering madly for Finland, especially after each win, they kept get stronger and stronger. Koivu dancing around Pronger was one of the highlights for me.

Yup, an English. I may not have lots of self respect, but I have enough to avoid cheering for Arsenal

So... you drink before or after the game or both? I remember playing a game somewhat wasted (we all were) and we were trying to hit the other team who was more wasted than we were and the most trouble i had was trying to get up because i was just laughing too damn hard!!

We were all falling over the ice and no one was injured or anything! It was the last game of our season and we all agreed to play it inebrieted!

I still remember it well as of this day.

Our goalie plays better after 3 or 4 beers..... I'm not even kidding....

He's a former 3 time World JR Champion for Roller Hockey and is fantastic (we play Ice Hockey though, but the skills translate well), but you put him on the ice "Stone Cold Sober" and we are in for a long night. One of my captain duties is to go to the bar with him and make sure we have a few before the game. LOL.... I try to make sure I'm sober enough to play though. Its worked as we have won the championship 2 times in 4 years...

Most guys have one beer before the game and more than one after the games....

Ah yes, one of the thankless chores of being a Captain: the old "Getting the goalie drunk so he can play better" trick...

I envy you, hehe..
