He does not need a goalie. And even if the fact that they have two decent goalies on their team isnt enough for you...maybe the interview he gave on the Dogs radio where he said he didnt need goalies will be enough.

The same way San Jose's GM laughed after he hung up after the Bruin's christmas gift was done (Thornton)? The kind of laugh that is a health risk? Yea that one.

Hopefully no one tries that on Fletcher

Jacques Martin: Hi there Fletchie. Jokinen for Belak sounds good? Final offer btw.
Fletcher: *Fletcher dies, as his lungs explodes instantly as they became too rigid to support that kind of laughter*

Ok;
An elite player for maybe 30 games
for
A player who has the potential to become one of the leagues top shut down centres over the course of a career in Montreal (and who is only part of a package).

I'll wait.

I dont Know if Grabs will go anywhere.. Apparently TT believes he may be one of the best prospects we have had in 10 years..and believed he would be a top 6 forward last year but he has had some injuries and is taking a little more time to acquaint to american hockey... He has a lot of potential..so do you give up perhaps a star for a rental...(maybe if the rental has agreed to a contract but not for a playoff run)

Yeah cause he's going to make a multiple hour trip to see someone sit in a pressbox!

Maybe Gainey said to Wadell 'And take anyplayer you want from Hamilton' like for Kovalev.

So, if you could pick a player from Hamilton, the 'best' who would it be?

There's no way Gainey will trade Chipchura.

I've said this before on here.

" It's great to have players who win scoring titles, but Chipchura is the kind of player that wins you Cups "

Chipchura is a clone in the mold of Gainey, Carbonneau, Skrudland

He may never amount to more than our 3rd line center, but he'll be the player that teammates look up to.

Someone better feed that kid pronto, otherwise he'll have to score those points on his ass, on the outside perimeter.

Grabovski, Chhipchura, Valentenko or Halak - all depending on one's need.

Right now, Grabs is HOOOOTTTTT!

Leadership qualities, skills, fearlessness and hockey smarts, plus some size to go with it.

Valentenko is injured right now.

Unless Waddell wanted to scout how well he sits in the pressbox or something.

Yesterday at the Sens and Marlies game and today at the Dogs vs Marlies game.
So maybe he's looking at the Marlies and not the Dogs?

I did not know that valentenko is injured. thanx for telling me. and the other poster said that waddell said on HF radio that he is not interested in a goalie. I guess all signs lead to grabs

Yup, I'd hate to lose Halak or Chips. Grabs I wouldn't mind losing at all or Locke for that matter.

Atlanta also has Ondrej Pavelec who's pretty good and has a higher potential than Halak so they don't need Halak at all in my opinion.

P.S: Kyle ''freakin'' Chipchura is the most overrated prospect on the Habs board I've ever seen !! I mean come on, the guy's gonna be a border line 3rd liner/okay 4th liner and shipping him in a deal that will bring us an elite talent is a bad deal ?! Get a life people !!

I couldn't care less than losing Corey Locke. Jimmy Bonneau maybe.

We might regret Grabs but thefact that he has a big question mark (despite his offensive prowess in the AHL) on his head makes him more expandable than Halak & maybe Chips. Actually no, I think I might let Chips go before Grabs. Tough call.
