It's a goal!

Isbister? makes it 2-1.

Seems like every game we get a goal reviewed doesn't it? Cechmanek looked pretty pissed off, he actually reminded me Roy for a sec!

Ah well, a 4-1 win is no longer possible, is 4-2?

I love your avatar. Undergrads is a great show.

Smytty did save a goal that period.

Hope MacT tells Tommy to take the pads off and let SMYTTY strap'em on after that save!

Salo sucks. Please let it be his last season in Edmonton.

Thank goodness the ref initially indicated a goal on that play. All the replays seemed pretty inconclusive. And what was with Salo on the second goal? Why was he staring straight down the ice? It's like he zoned out for a couple seconds there. Millen is right; the difference in the game so far has been goaltending.

Ok, now lets just keep it going. (Could this be the re-emergence of Stretch Drive Pisani?)

This might actually be Millen's first good game as a color man. He (correctly) pointed out the difference was goaltending, and has now identified the Oilers physical play as being a key to their comeback.

Now if Cole can ever tell the difference between BG and Ethan they'll be away.

for someone not aware of the game and its scheduling and stuff, you'd think big george just won Lord Stanley's Cup by the way he was celebrating
it was great

This is more like it! Fernando scored a nice goal. Cechmanek and Salo have both been pretty bad, but Cechmanek is just an ugly goaltender, I couldn't stand watching him backstop my team. At least Tommy Salo is somewhat technically sound.

Any word on Isbister's knee injury?

Agreed with you Lowetide, this is the first time Millen hasn't sounded like an ass (so far).

Salo's certainly battling the puck out there...

The first goal I felt he made a good play... chartrand either read it real quick, or was thinking shot first.

After that, I think Tommy got rattled, because that save has been working for him regularly. Not sure what he was thinking on the 2nd goal, but his leg was against the post... some nights that ends up being a save.

I don't care what anyone says...

Good restraint on the part of the Oilers forwards on not doing anything after Staois got hit.

Up by 1, 2:30 left.

Get the guy next game.

Kings score with a little more than a minute left in the 3rd......

WIN THIS IN OT! This team cannot afford ties, especially with teams like LA on the bubble along with the Oilers.

I'm going to predict (if this game goes into OT, probobly will) that Dvorak scores the winner here.
