Salo?

Pisani is on his lap, and Horcoff skates by the rebound.

Needless to say, the season is over.

In a twisted way I'm actually glad we lost. calgarypuck was all "Go Greasers!" and like hell I wanted Edmonton to do them any favours.

Relax, Mizralble bashes Salo any chance he gets. It's become quite redundant by now.

That was just sad. They don't deserve to make the playoffs after that display.

Wow...What a game tonight. Glad it was on CBC.

Kings just keep finding ways to win...Corvo and Holland in the third.

Great game. Stunned...

@Mizral: You were bashing Cechmanek pretty bad earlier, what do you think of Salo?

Just tuned in after the UFC PPV score 3-2 so not sure what kind of game this was. But on the 3-3 goal why wasn't there 2 centers out there? horecoff gets thrown out Moreau loses clean and its 3-3, why wasn't Stoll or Oates out there in that situation?

Tough loss but on the bright side we are now one loss closer to Ovechekin.

Dissapointing end to a dissapoining night I lost $20 on the UFC because Randy Couture got cut in the eye by a glove in the first minute of the fight. Then the Oilers give one away with a minute left

It's over...I have no more optimism, no more hope for the playoffs, I want this stupid season to be done and over with already! For a minute I thought it was possible but it was pissed away just like that 3-2 lead.

I know a lot of you think that I'm secretly cheering for everything anti-Oilers, I have to say I am just shocked at this. This is just so far beyond what I thought. I don't have a lot to add other than the fact that this was just a despicable play by the Oilers as a team. They are a young team, and yes, blowing late leads is a hallmark of a young team, but it's the veterans that failed this team tonight.

On the other hand, maybe a loss like this is a blessing in disguise. I believe a loss like this is the crushing kind of defeat that could cause Kevin Lowe to make a move to improve the team, and possibly start to think about a coaching change, if he isn't already.

I also want to add one last thing: Bishai I thought looked very good out there, and could be a role player the Oilers look at adding to their lineup fulltime next year. His size impressed me and I noticed he made a few smart passes in the offensive zone, that goes to show me he isn't a complete offensive clutz.

I only got to see about the last 10 minutes of the third, can anyone tell me why Hemsky wasn't playing?

The only thing I'm interested for the rest of this season, is for future seasons. I want to see Rita play now, why not? Give him lots of ice time, give him a chance to suceed. Lets see Lych again while we're at it.

Greg Millen called that one.
With 1:11 left you have to, absolutely have to have 2 centers on the ice for any face-off in your own end. Inexcusable

I'm speechless...dumbfounded. Words can't even describe what I'm feeling right now. I'm heading out to a bar to drown my sorrows.

A missed empty netter on one side, two quick goals to come back and win on the other. That's hockey for ya.

So what is it now? No Isbister = Rita? Oh wait...knowing MacT, Chimera will get the nod next game.

SAME HERE. I'm 21 and I get way too stressed out and angry and it just ain't worth it. It doesn't mean I'm not a fan, I'll always be a fan, but it's just not worth being miserable over. I will tune in to next season whenever that is.

How about with 2:14, 1:49, 1:20? Stoll and Oates just came off shifts. You going to put Bishai out there?

Did you all see the look on Kevin Lowe's face as the game ended? I bet Mac T is in his office as we speak. Changes are coming boys and girls.
