Usual lack of R-E-S-P-E-C-T

NHL.com's six-pack includes St. Louis vs. San Jose, but not San Jose vs. the CBJ (and Jody's first game back...like they know who he is). And the CBJ are ahead of StL in the standings. Just irritates me...
http://www.nhl.com/nhl/app/?service=...ticleid=354704

I quote: "San Jose’s meeting with St. Louis, which has major playoff implications in the Western Conference, highlights this week’s Six Pack. Expect similar excitement in Boston, Calgary, Atlanta, Buffalo and Madison Square Garden in New York."

Just gotta tell you, get used to it.

The only time I see Columbus mentioned on the NHL's home page is if they're playing Detroit and it is being broadcast on a national network.

The Jackets will get respect once we get Brad Richards.

I guess thats what happens when the Blues have been in the league for more years than the Sharks and Blue Jackets combined.

or we wont because Brad Richards won't give us the respect by joining our team..

Heehee...figures that the Denis for Freddie and Freddie would come back and bite us...can't really blame 'em for being leery...that was one of DMGMs 2 best moves (moving up for Nasher being the other)

I'm surprised anyone at 1460 "The Sham" knows which richards were talking about....

I think Cro-Mag thought it was quarterback that was transferring in from Division 1AA...

Ricordoti thought he was a utility infielder for the Clippers.

"Tooley" thought he was a Power Forward recruit for Thad Matta.

I heard the 1460 guys thought Richards was a point guard that would compliment Lebron quite nicely...

After all, he does crash the net and grabs those rebounds.

Of course he is. No one actually is ever going to the Jackets until that player is on the ice in a Jackets uniform - even then they try and wake up from whatever bad dream they are having.

I understand we haven't been to the playoffs, and we were mismanged before, but at some point we really shouldn't be considered the laughing stock anymore. Even the Bengals got some respect with Lewis and his 8-8 first season (pretty sure it was 8-8).

Oh well.

Yep. Lewis went 8-8 his first two seasons. Then struck gold, 11-5, only to follow it up with another 8-8 season. Then, this past year, I think they went 7-9.

St Louis has more clout with McInnis and Davidson than most teams, and they are a more viable playoff candidate than we are at this point in time. Otherwise, I totally agree with ya, we are the red headed step child.
