You vastly underestimate how often French backup goalies morph into the love child of Marty Brodeur and Jacques Plante when playing the Habs. I know he's been playing well, but I honestly think I'd rather face Miller.

I fear otherwise. There's been a trend of backup Quebec goalies dominating the Habs in Montreal. Like, Denis hadn't won in about a year until getting a shutout against the Habs before disapearing from the NHL, probably forever. Still, that's not to say that I would prefer to face Miller, it's just to say that it wouldn't surprise me to see Thibault play and dominate.

Big game for both teams, as almost every game from now on will be. Montreal is still trying to figure out whether they are a top team in the conference or just a pretty good team slightly ahead of the playoff pack. Buffalo of course is fighting for their lives, and seems to have rediscovered just how good a team they can be despite the losses of Briere and Drury. It should be a good one.

Who else thinks Tender should sit a game or two? Habs win this one 4-3...

Hopefully we get some Miller time. Being shutout by T-Bo was painful watching once. I don't know if I can handle a second dosage.

It's Latendresse's time to shine,, now he ahs no more excuses, he's playing on an offensive line with 2 skilled passers, He needs to sit in front of the net, get rebounds and kill the Sabres with big checks

Agreed. I loved the Lats/Grab/Serg line, but according to Eric Engles of Hockebuzz, they will be playing with Streit tonight, not Lats. Meaning Lats will be fourth lining it tonight. This might be a way to try to match speed vs. speed against the Sabres.

This will either be a 6-4 game (Habs) or a 2-1 game (Habs). It'll either be high scoring and tight or low scoring and tight. I'll say low scoring: 2-1. Goals by Bernier, Ryder and Markov.

The Curse of the Quebecois Goalie: Martin Brodeur comes to Montreal Saturday with the Canadiens struggling at the Bell Centre against homegrown products. They are 0-5 at home this season when facing Quebecois goalies, including three shutouts (Jocelyn Thibeault, Dany Sabourin, Pascal Leclaire). - TSN

We also have beaten Brodeur one time, believe it or not.

Edit: Nevermind. It wasn't at home. My bad.

Gotta respect them Sabres. They put together such a fine team over the past few years, and didn't fold this year after losing Drury and Briere. I love the fast-paced offensive game they play, rather than the trap others employ.

I expect a helluva game tonight. Hopefully the refs will just let both teams play and that's what we'll see....

I expect a 4 - 3 or a 5 - 4 decision in OT or shootout. I'll really go out on a limb and say either the Habs or Sabres will emerge victorious.

I assure you that you want T-bo. He has absolutely no confidence right now, and I am not sure that Miller wont play every game from here on out, it has gotten so bad.

Should be a fast physical game. Sabres don't win games they absolutely need to, and this is one of them. I anticipate Stafford being back in, but not sure about Max.

heres to a good game.

I wasn't aware that Pominville had that great of a season. I'm happy for him.

Starting tonight, we separate kids from mens. Let's see in which category the habs are.

5-2 habs.

Yet, we had some kind of a curse I can't name against some team I can't remember, and well, you all know what happened....
