I'd like them to finish anywhere between 17-24th in the standings.. Just enough to miss the players and just enough not to get Doughty or Stamkos!

Wouldn't you rather see the Senators continue to stumble and fall and eventually just miss the playoffs by one point while the Flyers, a team we can beat on any day, squeak in?

The Leafs have a way of beating us on a good night. I don't know how, but sometimes, those Leafs know how to catch us sometimes. Too many one goal games. It's not like Boston where they give their all and we still surpass. The Leafs and Habs are pretty neck and neck teams, always. Doesn't matter how poor one team is doing. I do not want to face a team like that in the playoffs, and I certainly do not want Leaf fans saying, "Hurray! WE made it!".

They need to miss the playoffs enough to not have a chance at a 5 game winning streak getting the in, and not be bad enough to go on a Pittsburgh/Washington prospect hunt.

No, the Leafs did. The Leafs outscored us. We didn't forfeit the game. Had we beat the Leafs, we would have made the playoffs. That's it.

oh why am I replying to your sarcastic ass

You guys notice that at least once a month, someone will come in and make a thread about a dream they just had or how they feel when they wake up?
Just pointing it out, not complaining or anything

Let somebody else knock the Sens out. Let the Leaf fans suffer through a humiliating season, find a silver lining in a top pick, abandon the idea of a top pick for the prospect of a playoff birth.....only to finish 9th. Lose the pick, lose the birth.

Next year, repeat.

Amen.

I thought about typing that for old time's sake.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not gonna shed a tear if the Leafs miss the playoffs but God damn would I love to see the Senators go down in flames to them

I want to see the Leafs bump off Boston and make the playoffs. I also want them to make it because then all their NTC's remain in effect (they are tied to making the playoffs).

I think it would be hilarious if the Leafs finish 9th in the conference. They have a chance to stink it up this year and get a franchise player, but they can't seem to lose properly.

I would like the Habs to finish 6th... and meet the Southeast division champions (third seed) !

I would not like the Habs to meet NJ or the Rangers in the first round.

That sounds pretty good to me! Right now, the Leafs' are 12th, I think they can actually climb to 9th in the conference with the way Philly has been playing lately. It depends on whether or not Washington and NYI can stay ahead of them. Both have a game in hand, and have one more win, so I think they can.

Same here!!

I live in a very "Leaf Nation" city, and if I dont have to deal with blind Leaf fans who think they have a good team I have to deal with bandwagon "Sens Army" members.

My hate for both teams may even exceed my love for the Habs.

Best-case scenario is that they barely miss the playoffs and end up with the 12-14 pick overal.. Having them start next year with basically the same core and without a future superstar is the best thing possible. All hail to perennial mediocrity.

The Leafs are the Plague

CBC is horrible and the reason is the leafs. They get so much attention and bottom line they have never done anything in there history. The team that tried to buy a cup but just did not pay enough.

Habs in the playoffs, I could care less where the leafs are in the standings as long as the Habs are leaving them in the dust.

If they're an army... can't you just declare war and shoot them? Keep in mind I'm American
