Hey Jacket heads, how long is Nash out for...eh?

Nice win for your club last night......Denis stood on his head as he usually has to in order for the BJ's to win. Anyways, more importantly, what's the deal with Nash....huh?. Any word how long he's out for or if he's going to be out at all?. Thanks in advance for any info.....

Wheeww......excellent news. With my first place dynasty roto team having lost Jovo,Lindros and Spezza last night, losing Nasher for any extended amount of time would have been devastating. And besides, Nash is one of my favorite players in the league and it would have stunk to not be able to see if he could reach the 50 goal mark. Thanks Mephisto for the update......much appreciated.

Band aid.

Hopefully he's smart enough to stay hurt until after the All Star game so that he doesn't embarass himself. Afterall, he's already embarassed the league.

I'm glad that people smarter than you found him to be such an embarrassment to the league that they put him in the All-Star game instead of Peter Forsberg.

(P.S. We all know by now that Nash screwed your girlfriend, but harboring such jealousy just isn't healthy....)

Interim coach Gerard Gallant termed Nash’s injury day to day, saying he’d probably travel with the Blue Jackets today to Arizona. They begin a two-game road trip Monday against the Phoenix Coyotes.

"They (team doctors) don’t think it’s anything serious," Gallant said.

Nash, wearing a boot and carrying his left shoe out of Nationwide Arena, wasn’t in the mood to talk after the game.

"I don’t know (how bad it is)," Nash said. "We’ll talk (this morning after practice)."

Hey, "Big Poppa" exactly how has Rick Nash embarrassed a league that saw fit to put Phillipe Kuba on the All-Star team??
Dude, you've got about as much credibilty as the avarage movie critic....

Less. The critic actually watches the movie.

What the heck is this guy talking about...eh? Never have read something so absurd, and I've read some very absurd things here at HF, than this comment. Please elaborate as to how Nash has embarrassed the league and himself as I'm totally vexed!

Because he doesn't play on the PK and should have been playing in London last year instead of being a finalist for the Calder...duh!

Funny, most GM's surveyed thought Bouwmeester should have been there over him. I guess they don't know what they are talking about.

Ahh, cause its being played in Minny, hence Kuba's selection. Try and keep up.

Ever think that maybe Forsburg has been injured a fair bit this year, and the Avs are already sending 3 other players, and the league would like to see as many teams represented as possible.

I'm an average movie critic and I agree with you.

How do you get off saying Rick Nash "LEADING GOAL SCORER" shouldn't be in the all-star game. If he wasn't THEN that would be a league embarassment.

If anything Mike Modano should be embarassed with his -18 at starting center.

Leading the league in goals, yet at the time of his selection, wasn't even in the Top 40 in points. 20 other guys, including 10 in the WC, were not selected, yet had more points, and weren't on a bottom dwelling team.

Modano was voted in by the fans, not selected by the league. Bit of a difference some people can't seem to figure out. Second of all, it Modano's -18 is embrassing, what can you say about Nash's -21?

Here we go again :

Scott, your act is wearing really thin. Why don't you go bother some other posters for a few weeks? Say, maybe Nashville fans. Do you have any beefs with Tootoo?

I hate CBJ more than anyone else on these boards but to say Nash doesn't deserve to be there is just simple nuts. And why would they vote J-Bo to be there ahead of Nash? J-Bo and eastern conference defenseman, Nash a Western conference winger.

I think our friend Scott was saying that J-Bo should have been a Calder finalist instead of Nash, based on an apparent poll taken of league GMs (still waiting on the proof Sir Ozzie asked for, Scott). Edit: see post #12 of this thread.

Amen. Also, even if this poll Scott is referring to really exists, who cares (just for fun, I would still like to see the proof)? Jackman won the Calder, and that's all that really matters.
