Apparently Smyth was up, and walking around.....should be okay.

That was quite a wallop.

It has to be serious. You can't hit the boards that hard and not have a concussion.

Man...that's a close call. I think it's no goal on the Calgary one....if so...Phoenix has a goal.

Awesome moment. I thought it was a Flames goal for a moment. That would have been awesomely funny.

Yeah, no kidding. The guy just came back from an injury too. It looks like he is going to be okay though.

The Philly-Rangers game is on TSN at 12:30 p.m. I'm hoping for a Rangers win because if Philly wins they jump the Rangers and move into 7th. I think NJ will win their division and finish either 1st or 2nd, and Montreal will finish either 1st, 2nd or
4th or 5th that means we're either meeting Pittsburgh or the 7th or 8th place team in the first round.

I really don't want to meet the Rangers in the 1st round and I don't think they're going to miss the play-offs so the perfect spot for them is 6th. That means they need a win today.

Also playing: Atlanta at Pittsburgh - 3 p.m.; Florida at NYI - 4 p.m.; and Detroit at Buffalo - 6 p.m.

If Philly does lose and Buffalo wins, then the Sabres move into an 8th place tie with Flyers, but Flyers hold the tie breaker (wins - they've played the same amount of games). NYI can move to within 2 points, if Flyers lose, but Flyers have a game in hand on them. Any one of those teams, Philly, Buffalo, NYI is preferable to NYR.

I agree.... and don't....

Agree that I absolutely do not want to meet them. Couldn't care less if we came back in this great game, if they put it together, they have the perfect mix of goaltending, skill, grit and speed to do some damage.

Don't agree 'cause it's too soon to predict the rankings with 20ish games to play. So I wish they lose and then enter a downward spiral till they realize they didn't make the playoffs by some kind of a miracle....making Washington the #8 in the conference....playing against us in the 1st round...

Seriously, I think that I just love seeing them lose.

Well, they're losing now. 1-0 Philly. They scored on their first shift.

Rangers.

I just want it to end in regulation.

Oh and make it so that the rangers lose. They are a very streaky team, and I wish they crash and burn. Sather might understand at some point that you can't BUY a championship team anymore.

He couldn't buy one before the lock-out either. Seven years, no play-offs, one of the most expensive teams in hockey.

2-1 Philly, Coburn PP goal.

This is a higher scoring game than I expected.
