The Sazka Arena has a new name: it's now O2 Arena.

Talk about rip off...and u guys are mad at Dolan
Yeah, I wanted to go but I'm having second thoughts at those prices. Am I wrong in thinking there's no way the average Czech can afford that?

For a once in a lifetime event, I'm sure the "average" Czech can dig deep enough to for that much cash over. Unfortunately, just like Super Bowl tickets, something tells me that most of the seats will not have an average Czech in them.

Is every arena in Europe now called the O2 arena?

capacity up to 18000
for the normal game in the league tickets vary from 90 kc to about 400 kc, just letting you know how much more the NHL costs
normal NHL game in the 400's 30$ - about 480 kc, the game in prague is very overpriced, but then again the costs for the team , referees etc. to get prague, + the weaking $, but for us czechs its a unmissalbe event. yes its overpriced, but comeon its the NHL
i lived in NY, i went ot the gamesin NY, i went to the games in prague, very differant atmosperes, also very differant leagues

I dunno, man, my ticket for Sparta v. Slavia was like 8 bucks. A full-tournament pass to the World Juniors was $92 for like 17 games. 2000Kc is a lot of money.

I know it's the NHL and a special event, but I still think it's a shame.

I paid about $5 for the Sparta Prague-Litvinov match last year. The same for Plzen-Kladno. Both lower bowl seats.

well, in MSG you have a average atmosphere all around, while in PRague, behind each goals each team has its "real" supporters, it is loacted behind the two goals and is the cheapest ticket 90 kc - 5$ while the middle parts )center ice) is about 250 kc - 15 $
this is where you sing nostop, etc. also you dont sit, jsut stand (i hiiiiighly doubt this will be there for the Ranger game though
no NHL team has nothing like this
BUT...
the nhl is the nhl

More proof the team doesn't give two ***** about the season ticket holders.

Maybe we need some sort of Season Ticket Holder Committee or something...

For what it's worth, I signed up on the Lightning's website to be notified when ticket information becomes available.

Hey there, has there been any news on when the tickets go on sale?

I looked on the internet and all I could find was www.nhlprague.com saying they went on sometime in April. Which is rather too vague.

The tickets should have been for sale since the beginning of April, but it seams the procedure is delayed for some unknown reason. There is no word on the official arena page (www.o2arena.cz) on when will the tickets be available.

I e-mailed sazka Tickets (sp) and asked when they would release the tickets on sale. They were quite unhelpful, altough I will let them off because they may not have understood my e-mail fully.

They basically said keep watching their website. So there is still no idea of when they will become availible

Rangers fans might have a better shot of getting tickets through Tampa's people than our own. sad.

THe website that will be selling the tickets (http://www.sazkaticket.cz/Default.asp?lang=US) now has the NHL Premiere logo up on the screen and it is saying 'coming soon', so I reckon it will be within a week.

Sazka ticket is now saying that you can only buy tickets from their 'online terminals'. Which as I read it to be meant terminals in the streets of the Czech Rep. Does this mean that they will not be going on sale to other countrys other than the Czech Rep? (at the moment it says:
Quote:
Tickets from SAZKA TICKET. Sale only via SAZKA on-line terminals, no group orders or orders from abroad.
on their website

Maybe they will put an online sale on after they have seen how much demand there is in the Czech rep exclusively.

That's probably fair. They should get first dibs.
