Freddies potential was very high when he was drafted but he was never able to use his talents cuz he was stuck on the bottom lines. put him in the upper lines and he could get some good offense going

You could have said the same thing about Dawes last year. Even after his first call up this year people were saying that he'd never be a regular player with the Rangers and they should trade him. But look at him now. He's earned his spot I would say.

Will Moore do the same thing? I have no idea, but he's playing well in Hartford and it's certainly possible that he will be ready at some point next year to make the leap to being a regular contributer in the NHL.

so far i like what i see from Freddy. alot of people got down on Slats for this trade. Even though Freddy might not be as good as Hossa he is definitely an improvement from Ryan "I can't buy a goal" Hollweg
