If you are looking for multiple players who represented a specific jersey number -- as opposed to numbers like 16 and 1 which are defined really by one man for each -- then another to consider is #10: Mel Bridgman, Brad McCrimmon and John LeClair among others.

I think it depends on how young you are or when you first got into hockey and the Flyers. I only really fell in love with the team and the sport in the 00-01 season but was trading hockey cards many years before that. To this day, anytime I see the number 88, whether it be hockey related or not, I think of Eric Lindros.

Also for some reason, and I think it's tied into the whole Lindros thing that went down, but when I see the number 87 I think of Lindros/Brashear, not Crosby.

I also like #11's run (highlights):

Dineen
Flockhart (Flocky Hockey!)
Hachborn
Recchi
Saleski
Sharp

Though it is dragged down by Daigle and Latal.

I'm tired of waiting.....it's been over 6 years since he played. The Flyers need to retire #20 already for Dopita. Guess R.J. will have to pick a new number...oh well.

Wasn't Magnus Roupe #10 as well? Man, I had high hopes for that guy.

The best number in any teams history is 69. I don't know any flyers that had it though.
