No thanks on Bailey. I would rather hope Teubert slips to us. Plus we don't need anymore centers - we JUST drafted Hamill and we still have Bergeron, Krejci, Soderberg, etc.
Whoever takes Josh Bailey between the #10 - #20 picks is going to get a really good player. If he falls to around 17-20 I would consider that a steal for whatever team grabs him. I think Bailey is still a bit underrated and maybe could crack the top 10.
lmao.... so the lightning take a dman not named doughty or schenn and they dont take filatov either with that number 2 overall... RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHT
yep, I dont think that Lightning gonna take a defenceman because there are already many dmen in the team, but offence is weak...I am biased, but I would still say that it is Filatov if not Stamkos...
That's still not correct. There are twelve inches in a foot. These heights are shown in tenths of a foot. 5.1 feet is less than 62 inches, which is 5'2''. However, it's fairly obvious that they meant 5'10'', even though they did a poor job of expressing it.

I get that but on the website they list everyone as 5.10 or 5.11. They are using an incorrect way of showing height but it's not overly confusing. They missed the 0 in 5.10 for Eberle.
Schenn to Anaheim looks very likely. The only other way I can see them taking a different player is if they want to take the most highly skilled forward or defenseman and then deal him away sometime in the following two years.
Why would a team with ZERO forward depth take ANOTHER defenseman in the first round? When Jeff Halpern is your second line center...you have depth problems.
You want them to draft for depth with the second overall pick?
Why Boghosian is so low?
Schenn is very good but I like Boghosian offensive upside, since we already have a defensive minded prospect like Mitera in the system.

I would take Boghosian over Schenn at this point.
Based on what? Schenn's clearly the better defenseman, and will be able to make a bigger impact sooner.

I think top 10 is a push. Even though he has a great overall skill set, he really doesn't shine too much in one specific area to push him into the top 10.
I think he's a very "safe" pick, but I'm not sure if he'll crack the top 10. No knock against him, it's just the type of draft it is..this coming from a Windsor fan.
no way the Isles pass up on Bogosian if he's on the board.
I could see the Isles taking Hodgson over Bogosian. Outisde of Stamkos, Hodgson is probably the best center in the draft and almost definitely the best playmaking center. He's also got lots of speed and supposedly great character. He'd be a very good player to serve as Okposo's pivot. Hodgson also seems to project to a similar ceiling as Bogosian, and may even be a safer prospect. And not that this should factor in too much, but though defense is an organizational weakness for the Isles, I think we're even worse off at center.
If what's here is what's on the board when the Isles pick, I'd be very happy with any of Bogo, Schenn, Filatov or Hodgson.
0% chance Philly takes a forward, we already have a solid top 9 not to mention guys like Downie JVR and Giroux waiting in the wings. If the best player available isn't a defenseman i see them trading the 1st rounder.
Also it should be noted that the current picks are just based on what they believe the draft prospect rankings are, and the teams picks are determined by where they are in the standings currently.
