I think much of your confusion might stem from the fact that "global warming" doesn't necessarily result in warming but rather in sudden and un-heard of before changes in temperature.. much like what has happenned to out Earth over the last 10 years... many of the scientists disagree on how and what exactly will happen. But there is no real debate in the scientific community that is IS happening.
K.'s fiddle teacher says David Suzuki invented global warming an dhas becom erich because of it.

Oh well, he's a helluva fiddler.

K's fiddle teacher is one of the main scientific pundits of the anti global warming camp I see.

To me neither camp are right nor wrong. It has now more to do with money and politics, and both have a certain disregard for the truth and for the true impacts.

For me it has always been a question of the impact on the ecological systems which is a solid undisprovable fact. Not global warming itself. If we keep on consuming like this, all ecological systems will be destroyed. Industrial waste and consummer goods are the main problems regarding this.

Here, we got about 10cm of snow, some freezing rain after, but since I woke up at 7, nothing at all from the skies!

Juste plain cloudy, temperature at 0, pretty much all the snow has melted already on the highway

I was in my solarium this morning at around 6, and God almighty, the ice pellets!

Anyway, it's nice to see we still have snow, in fact, it's great, for the simple reason that one day, there may not be anymore snow due to the damn global warming.
Enjoy the snow, enjoy nature, because one day, there may not be anymore and it could be +5 during the winter rather than -15.

On a side note: HILLARY!!!!!

I just finished mine and the truck just passed so there's snow again in my driveway, I think I'll push it to the driveway in front of mine...The snow is like 12 feet high each side of my driveway.

SICK!

I am so pissed right now!! I'm gonna hide behind a snow bank and wait for the f@#&ing city plow guy and attack the tractor with my shovel. Bastige completely blocked my driveway with huge ice boulders. I was so mad, I had to write this song.

Attached! lol!

Did it for Andrew Carter's morning show on CJAD....I assume he'll play it tomorrow or Friday. I thought it wld be a great sound track for your thread!!! Unfortunately I had to compress the crap out of the mp3 to upload it here, so sorry if it sounds lo-fi.

Very therapeutic thread! I feel better now!

Cheers,

d.
