I'll take your word for it since you have seen him play far more than I have.
If he stops 90% of the Rangers defensive breakdowns when he's on, he's now stopping like 75 or 70. There's a definite dropoff from his usual play, but it's not like he's gone completely downhill.

Vally has looked good because the Rangers have played better D in front of him

I reckon a 3 point game for Dubi and a 4-1 win.

I don't see how something completely within the rules is bush league. Overreacting by Islanders fans on their board and too much trying to be the good guy by Dagoon on our board.

Islanders 10
Rangers 2

Lundqvist gets pulled in the first five minutes of the game after giving up 4 goals from the redline.Backman is a -8

The Rangers HF boards shut down due to too much traffic

Im feeling a 2-1 win for you guys as well. What happened to the good old fist flying between these two teams anyway? The best we can send out at Orr is Hillary Duff i believe. Good Luck and should be fun reguardless.

You guys think the Rangers ever ask Dave Maloney for his input on the teams play. He always impresses me with his analysis on the radio broadcast and he seems to pop up at Greenburgh as well.

He gets a view of every game. A certain perspective. Does he ever get to be on the inside or do they just see him as part of "the media"?

If there's suspicion of foul play then it's any teams right to get something checked out...

94-92 islander with with DP hitting a 3 pointer as the clock expires, even though girardi played amazing defense and was in his face without committing a foul.

girardi with 5 points, 3 blocks and 7 boards
jagr with 10 points, 10 assists for his first double-double of the season
Lundqvist with 2 points, 5 assits and a season high 18 boards.....

It's more that the guy is so short but im not understanding even just seeing this guy from a T.V. shot i dont get where anything looks real unusual. It may have been a ploy to get in his head or stir the pot or maybe just something that someone saw on the ice, either way really doesnt bother me.

You think don't teams complain to the NHL about Lundqvist's pads or about Luongo's flaps.Or teams don't complain about a pitcher doing something funny with the ball.I guess you don't notice the opposing players checking baseballs which are hit into their dugout thrown by the opposing pitcher.

And why are you apologizing on the Fishies board? Some Ranger fan.Traitor.

Thats a good question. I wouldn't be surprised if some of the younger guys might talk to him individually, about some pointers. However, I wonder if Dave would feel comfortable talking to the coaching stuff, about things he noticed while doing the broadcast?

Well this also means that the equipment staff better make sure everything on their end is legal... don't need to give the Isles any reason to call us out i.e. illegal stick...

If the NHL checked, and they WERE too big, would you be making these comments?

I am genuinely surprised at uproar this has caused so far. As others have said, I am sure this goes on all the time, it just happened to leak today.
