Climate change is a figment of Al Gore's imagination and no, the Maple Leafs never win a cup again.

Skating and passing has been horrible...

(also how the HELL did the sens got blanked by LA?!?)
I'll agree except the San Jose game both teams played like crap and San Jose won 6-4. The officiating was horrible in that game and took away any flow to it that could have been. Montreal was 0 for 7 on the PP in that game and Price disappointed, but despite all those bad things Montreal kept coming back vs San Jose. I was more disappointed in their effort against Phoenix and L.A. eventhough they won those games. Our goaltenders won both of these games for us without a doubt. Defensive play and hard work have been lacking. Gotta star hitting next game and tighten up the D.

Habs were insanely lucky, especially on that waved-off goals.

Crazy scoring run. 4-4-5 so far on the Western swing, and since the deadline only NJ limited Montreal to less than 4. Thankfully.

Anybody still think we have goaltending problems?

Pleky is sick. Even when he's sick.

Considering how dramatic Kovalev's 29th goal was, I'll settle for it if he keeps getting assists.

Latendresse with a 2-point game. That's why he's in the lineup. Yes, there was an empty-netter... and then there was the GWG.

3 more wins to "clinch" a spot.

And with this win, the western swing must be considered successful -- anything they get against Anaheim is sweet, rich gravy. But Carbo has to start cracking the whip.
LOL @ this

and yes, Kovys 29th goal was SURREAL, and ill also keep taking his assists, only he didnt have any tonight , i just want him to get number 30 out of the way!

but for now,

ITS TIME to watch the montreal canadiens win the stanley cup in 1993, i personaly have never seen it

Man. This team sucked, but still managed to get the 2 points.

Hats off, Mr. Halak.

Did anyone (aside from me) think Brisebois played a pretty decent game for a fill-in and his first game in a month?

I know he had a few braincramps, but overall I thought he did a pretty good job, having not seen the ice in a month.

I love how Carbo rested the top two lines tonight.
I hope that pays off tomorrow.

he wasn't hurting us out there, so that is a good game from him.

I did, he played minimal minutes and was not bad at all. The second goal he made a dumb play and should've kept playing instead of arguing the call but for someone who hasn't played in so long i thought he also played a decent game.

Decent game for Brisebois honestly. That said, I don't want him to be used often like he was at the beginning of the season. Brisebois is a fill-in and I'm happy if he can get the job done. But I don't want Carbo to think that he can be a regular.

IMO this was a carbon copy of the Phoenix game. We generated and captalized on our chances, but were inconsistent in our own end and had to be bailed out with a strong goaltending preformance.

- Halak was great... especially in controlling his rebounds. He had to bail the team out a few times.

- Koivu is heating up and is starting to play like the Saku of old. Great games again from the likes of Kostisyn(s), Pleckanec, Kovalev. Lats to his credit played a good game as well.

- Goal aside, Brezzy still sucks big time. Komisarek continues to struggle a bit as well... hopefully he gets over it and starts playing like the beast he is again.

A win is a win though. A better effort will be needed tommorow, thats for sure.

I'm happy with Breezer as a fill in.

I'm also happy if Breezer was a regular but designated as the #6 (meaning 12 mins a game maximum).. though O'Byrne needs too develop.. so I don't care either way.

well that's 3 bad games in a row.........we are due for a good one.

Please, Please, Carbo do not play Breeze-By Sunday he's an embarrassment. If he never plays another game for the Habs I'll be happy.
