Reich/McDonnell

Can anyone tell me what Reich is doing that McDonell cant? I think McDonell is a little more mobile and just as big and tough. I dont have a problem with Reich, but if we just need a grinder, I like Mac in there better. I assume its a contract thing. Anyone have info?

IMO, neither should be on the Blue Jackets Roster.

Reich seems to be a little more physical then McDonnell.

I agree with you on this one. Why isn't McDonell back up?

Maybe its a contract thing, maybe they just want to give looks to a variety of guys to see what they have. In the last month we've seen Reich, Hartigan, Moran and now Motzko.
Still no Pandolfo or MacLean though.

From what I've read, Pandolfo hasn't been too impressive this year in Syracuse, but I don't know why MacLean hasn't been called up yet. Especially with Nash out. . . .

My feelings are that all these guys are coming up as tryouts for next year. Probably see Reich another 3-4 games, Motzko another 7-8 and so on with guys like MacLean, Pandolfo, Knopp and possibly Leclaire seeing some time later in the year.

Geez. Now Reich is on the 3rd line? Again, I have nothing against him, but Jackman or McDonell would be much better. Especially with 3rd line minutes. Hopefully Cass is back soon.
