its not the game that causes it...If you have the problem its cause your console is busted. Mine is giving me problems, but Nintendo will repair it for free, they'll even pay for the shipping to send it in.

I only use Luigi is Smash Bros. since the original. Luigi's flame bullet thing was sick in melee!

Originially named in typically Japanese fashion: "Jumpman," I believe. Seriously, the Japanese love naming things after what they are/do.

Ike is so good in this game. He has several charged attacks (including the forward+B slide) and a pretty nifty reverse move. Definitely the best character.

I like Ike alot but he's very, very slow. That's his biggest weakness. And his recover move isn't very good either...You're basically dead if you can't double jump back to the platform.

I played Stryder online, I was Ike and he was Wolf. I could barely hit him because of the speed difference. I can just imagine how guys like Sonic would match up with him.

Guys, I may be too much of an old gamer, but what kind of lousy buttons-mashing game is this???

I've been tapping buttons for about 15 minutes and I just finished the classic game. I don't even know what I'm doing... Heck, I think I prefer Street Fighter. But what this big fuss about?

If you just smash buttons you'll never beat someone who actually knows how to play. Maybe you can beat the computer on easy or normal but you won't beat another person.

Fair enough Dave, but could you help me on some strategies? What's the best way to play this, all-out attack? Defense and counter-attack? Well timed special attacks?

It's not that hard... you must learn to play with different characters... they all have differents specs!

Each character has 4 special attacks and 6 or 7 ways to throw punches. One of the best ways to win is to be conscious of the shield... very useful.

The only thing is that I am confused.. I began SM Galaxy 2 weeks ago, they are not using the same buttons.
(sorry for typos)

I just bought it! Awsome game. I'm wondering what are the trouble you have with the console?

Myself, the Wii console makes strange noise at times similar to the sound of scratching the cd and/or having real trouble reading it...(Mainly when it has to load and or switching character in a fight)

There is also one time when the joystick stopped working...I restarted the Wii and it worked though so I doubt it is related to SuperSmash...

Really, I don't play much on the Wii, (Zelda and SuperSmash being the only two games I have liked so far and played). My little bro plays the most on it. So those problems could be very common and I wouldn't know, haven't talked to him about those problems yet...But anyway, some feedback would be appreciated!

I rented the game yesterday and I don't know what I'm doing but have button-mashed my way to a few victories online. There must be something more to this game I'm not getting!
