Coyotes make HF top 20

HF 21-30

The rankings were compiled by a committee of staff members using the prospect criteria normally used by this site. Players who were projected to appear in 41 or more NHL games in 2003-04 during the production of this list were excluded from the final draft of the rankings. Some of the excluded players may still be listed as prospects on some of the team pages, however, so moving them to "Graduated" status is a project for another day.

21. San Jose Sharks (Previous rank: 30)
22. St. Louis Blues (24)
23. Florida Panthers (6)
24. Tampa Bay Lightning (12)
25. New York Islanders (21)
26. Toronto Maple Leafs (16)
27. Philadelphia Flyers (13)
28. Carolina Hurricanes (29)
29. New York Rangers (28)
30. Colorado Avalanche (17)

Bit of a surprise to see Florida and Philadelphia there after they were so highly ranked previously. Obviously they're hurt by the graduations of their biggest names.

I think we'll probably be 20th on that list if it excludes Taffe, Spiller and Sjostrom who could all easily "graduate" this season. I'm actually a bit surprised we didnt get ranked lower.. we were in the bottom 10 last time around with those 3 prospects. I guess Leneveu, M.Jones and Redenbach are beginning to get noticed more.

seems like the yo-yo effect between being overrated and underrated continues.

Im surprised. I think they must be including Sjostrom though.. then we measure up to Ottawa (10th) quite well.
