Made me hungry and home sick..(For a little while, then remembered all that shoveling!!)
Here have to make my own fries also (Crisco pan fries are good, or deep fried) but the Tatters we can find here not the best (Ghana - most come from Burkina Faso - best suited to mashed) Next, yeah no good squeaky curds here...(My favourite are St Albert curds in Eastern Ontario) so go with cubed Mozzarella.
As for sauce, forget it, no canned varieties here. Have to go for scrtch....make a nice browned flower roue, add pepper etc, water, chicken cubes (Yeah, thats cheating) and hope for the best...
Have only done that twice - really is better to wait for the next trip back home for the St Hubert and Poutine fix!!
