I'd take Guggisberg over Paterlini and Ziegler any day.

On another note, I read today in the newspaper that Andres Ambühl will most likely go overseas next season and sign a two way contract.

There is an article [1] on Arno Del Curto on iihf.com. It is called "The best coach in Europe". Well..... Although I think the praise he gets in it is a little over the top, he is certainly a very good coach/manager/salesman.

What a character this arno del curto ... one day they were showing on tv 2 different style of coaches during games ... their was a finnish and del curto. It was hilarious the finnish didn't change his face wheter his team was winning or loosing. totaly stoïk attitude. del curto on his side was totally maniaco-depressive, almost histeric ... he even destroyed a garbage basket once ... all players already left there area after the game ... he was still kicking this basket until he riped it off the wall ! then he left the place with a smile of satisfaction.

hilarious report on swiss tv. (for once)

I've been saying for years that Bezina shouldn't be allowed anywhere close to a national team jersey. Nice to finally have some support.

Bezina wasn't on the ice, Jeannin and Seger combined for that mistake.

Twin brothers Tyler and Justin Donati are going to play for HC Thurgau in the season of 09/10. I´m sure they´ll be a revelation to the league and attract lots of interest from NLA during the season..

What happened with Anson Carter who played for LC Lugano in 07-08? Can't find any information about him.

I think he retired at the end of that season, he struggled so much in Lugano.

One for Lugano and one for Ambri, that inspires me a comment

How can u moderators cooperate if one's for Lugano (manages to be 10th with people like Robitaille and Dominichelli) and one for Ambri (a millenary-old ice rink but WHAT A CROWD)?

Donati's in Lausanne now and WOW! pure crap!
He is just so bad!!
He was signed with a upper-class-player contract and he plays like a bad fourth-liner!
Dammit, seems every good B-league players go wrong when they play for LHC

Had a random thought about Jussi Markkanen today. Is he playing in the Swiss league again this year (he was with Zug last season, I think)? I wondered how he was doing.

beating down field players with his stick

he is doing ok ... his last thing is to have hit from behind a field player from the adverse team ... à la marty mc sorley on Brashear ... of course not that nasty ... but the idea is about that.

Hockeywise ... i am not fan of Zug ... i would say that he plays average in light of the goals Against with a decent team in front of him.

Maybe Roloson taught him that one.

He was a good guy here, it's hard not to hope for the best for him, even without his family tragedy.
