Sadly I won't be making the trip to Florida for these two games this year. But, last year these were probably our worst back to back performances of the year...losing 3-2 to the Panthers after leading by 2 after 2...and two nights later losing 4-3 after leading by 3 after 2. 0 points on the trip, and 7 unanswered goals against in the 3rd periods.

This year we need wins.

HOpefully Orr and Belak can get in a couple rounds.

Also hope at least one of Malik or Backman is sitting.

Anything short of at least 3 pts is a disaster on this trip, we need 4 to keep pace with the others.

I don't think going 1-1 would be a disaster. The streak is going to end sometime. And if we're going to lose, better to lose to teams we aren't fighting with in the standings. That said, we can win both of these games.

Keep the point streak going in both games.

You can beat these games. Do it Rangers.

I'd be completely comfortable with a point. Two points is always better, however.

As long as the game's tied at the end of regulation and a loss ensues, I'd be happy.

I'd prefer to keep pushing our wins as away from .500 as possible. I guess that only means more wins.

No excuses here. None of this trap game nonsense. Just go in, get it done, and get out.

trick with the panthers is to out wait them. eventually they make mistakes, and you can capitalize on them, but if you try to press the issue, thats when they can be dangerous.

Florida is 6-2-2 in their last ten--so they're playing pretty well too. All games this time of year are big ones. We need to come out of Florida with as many points as possible. Rumors seem to be that Valiquette may get the start.
