Should we all have a name for our playoff beards? And if so, can they be different names or should we just stick to one name for all playoffs beards?

Sure hope so.

Mine is named Saku 'cause you see that the passion, determination and effort is there, but from time to time it's kind of weak.

Hmm, I think mines Hamrlik. Not the fastest to arrive on the scene, but you always know what you are getting. No sloppy patchwork (Brisebois ), but a steady, solid performance every time.

Mine will be called fred, because it is the name o my lil bro who made me listen to hockey fort the first time, he's 12 years old and this is maybe another reason why it's called fred... cause it is not strong

I'll shave my current beard minutes before the first game's faceoff, and then let it grow in awesomeness as the Habs stump team after teams. Lets hope it doesn't hurt my chances with ladies.

So to make this clear :

Do I have to shave the night before the playoffs to start a new beard or should I keep going with the one I have???

Anyone considering shaving something into their facial hair/head hair? Example: CH sign on back of head? Shaving everything right before playoffs, but leaving a CH sign on side of face? Im thinking about it.

Speak for yourself. Just because you get 5 o'clock shadow at noon doesn't mean you should deprive others of planning their playoff beards.

I hope the Habs go with something hilarious like the handlebar moustaches of 2004. If that's the case, I'll do what they do. If not, I'll let the beard grow wild and free and terrible, which is pretty funny because I'm supposed to look professional when I teach.

My beard will be called patches.. because chances are I won't be able to grow a full one, but I'll do it for fun.
