Nice predictions. Half of everyone's roster is apparently headed to Montreal.

But the additions of LeClerc, Daze, Selanne, Rupp, White, Fischer, Girard and others will certainly turn Montreal in to a contender considering they're only looking to move Juneau, Perreault, Rivet and Kilger! Look at the depth on the wings..

Couple things from St. Louis' perspective:
1)Why does St. Louis want Perrault, we already have 7 natural centers on our every day roster? Rivet is barely as good as Pollock, we don't want him either.
2)Geoff Sanderson is considered the "fall-back" option for a scoring winger(from Derrick Goold, the Blues beat writer), yet you don't even mention us as being interested? (and Why would Ottawa want him? They need grit, not more finesse. I see them being more interested in Arnott or Daze(if he's really avaiable))
3)Mellanby is not for sale. He is the heart and soul of this team now that MacInnis is out.
4)Demitra's contract makes him practically unmovable.
5)(to anyone) If Daze is really available, what would it take for St. Louis to get him? Talk about a 1-2 punch on LW with Tkachuk and Daze.

Why would you want Daze? He's been out all season and I thought his career could possibly be in jeopardy with his latest injury..

Injuries problems aside, he is exactly what we need in a forward. He is big and can score goals. IMO the main reason for his injuries is because he's played against the oppositions top D unit and likes to crash to the front of the net(most guys who do that end up with injuries). In St. Louis he'd be up against the second unit and would hopefully stay healthier. If his injury is as bad as you say I'd pass but a guy like him is what Pleau should look for. I was hoping we could steal him for a minor leaguer or a low round pick in a salary dump.

i believe now is the time that guy on south park would say.. "drugs are bad for you mmmmkay?"
...
umm yeah... eric daze's physicality has left him possibly in the press box with injuries.. permanently.. and with the number of additions and subtractions from montreal's team youve mentioned a few of those folks would be joining him and gainey in the press box earning all that money for sure lol

Have you watched Daze play? A lot of people confuse him for a power forward simply because he is a big guy.. he certainly doesn't crash the net too often. He's more of a sniper that sits in the high slot.. definitely not a crash and bang forward. He can score goals though..

Jonas Hoglund doesn't even play in the NHL anymore and Jonathan Girard got seriously injured in a car crash and won't be back until next season.

whoever created this thread is an idiot.

philly wants burke AND thibault? and they arent even gonna trade away Hackett or Esche? -- damn.. and you thought Detroit had goalie problems.

delete this nonsense thread. it seems like the dude who started it simply listed all the players he knows on each NHL team.

Some of you try reading the post again. He doesn't make many predictions. He just listed players on each team he thinks might be moved and some of their suitors. Especially since people have complained he only "predicts" one person going to Montreal, Gautier. Oh yeah and for whoever said it, God forbid Philly who apparently wants a goalie be interested in more than one. They should throw all of their apples in one basket shouldn't they?
