Yes. That's how I got there. It's extremely easy. About a 20-minute trip and then you walk through an office building and down one block and you can't miss the arena. Definitely worth the trip to Jersey to see a game there even if they aren't playing the Rangers.

Build more hotels, the bars and restaurants will follow and for a final touch add a D&B's or a Hard Rock Cafe' or both. You need another attraction there when the Rock is dark.

Yeah, if you live in the city or LI, defiantly take the tracks.

Well from what I've observed, those are mostly the suburban New Jersey living New York Ranger fans that have probably been to NYC 4 times in their entire life. But yeah, this bunch puzzles me. I live IN Manhattan, and while I used to go to 2 or 3 stray Ranger games per year, I certainly dont go to see the Rangers play the Hurricanes when the Devils are playing the Canadiens at The Rock.

There are a lot of casual Ranger fans in NJ as well as many diehards. The casuals are simply not motivated enough to try for the "much-harder-to-get" Ranger tickets.

Also: Many are just intimidated about going into Manhattan.

Want to go to a hockey game spur of the moment? Yeah, let's get some devils tix.

Getting individual Rangers tix requires some sort of effort, wether that invlovles getting tix when the first go onsale, knowins a STH'er, or buying tix off craiglist or stubhub. For most games, you can just walk up to the Rock and buy gameday tix. My friend who is a Rangers supporter (goes to 8 NYR games a year), does that all the time. Live hockey is better than no hockey.

Eh, I don't know about that. Drury's shot/goal was not lucky, he knew what he was doing sitting there and it was bound to happen (as long as the Devils made a mistake, which they did). Callahan's "pass" on the other hand, actually went of Brodeur, which leads me to believe it was more a shot than pass. I'm also not going to argue who was louder or what drown out the Devil fans, but when Drury scored, that place exploded, I don't see how less than 30% of the fans could be THAT loud.

I talked to a bunch at the kings game. (I think the Rangers were playing Phoenix? who knows). They all claimed they were from manhattan and stated that they were just there to check out the new Arena, One og them even boasted that he got on the train at the Garden... (I have seen em at least couple times before and after since then.).

not knocking any ranger fans here. just a strange curiosity as it would be if any of us did that to manhattan.

As far as tickets, they were in the 95 dolla seats and tix were available for cheaper to the Ranger game that night..

Oh well.

I dunno, I just picked up seats to the Rangers Devils game at the Garden through that ticket exchange. 300's center ice (333?) for $60 bucks, print them out on my printer.

There is NOTHING easier than that. We need to be able to do that!

TE is awesome, no doubt.

Just saying that in general, it is easier to get Devs tix.

I think what you have going on right now with Ranger fans and TE, is people are trying to pay for some of the playoff tix. I know I am.

Technically yes, and I have had this argument before as don't ever have trouble getting tix to the Rangers/devils at the Garden, even back when we swept you guys (had to get that one in as we are SUCKING against you this year!)

Buy as for TE, Yeah no doubt, Dolan screwed you guys so bad he didn't even give you a spit courtesy. If I was a ranger fan I would be dying for a series against the devils especially a conference finals series, (not just cause your beating us this year but for the cost savings!) What would that cost you guys like 3k?
