Price's puck handling skills are really becoming a factor in the game.
WHen the other team dumps it in, Price makes a quick pass & we break out with speed.

Lats pass was amazing !

Chara was a pylon.
On the B's board earlier today some poster was sarcastically laughing syaing Habs fans think Markov shoud get the Norris over Chara.

Wonder if he still thinks that after tonight's performance ?

nice win by the habs
lets go for the sweep saturday
bruins are a bunch of goons that doesnt know how to play hockey and just run players with dirty hits
that 2nd goal of price was disgusting
the goon player tried to wack price's head with his stick
nhl should suspend those goons

I hope that Price plays the remainder of the season. It was his first game in a week and it showed, but he played very well nontheless.

I thought Plekanec was awful, dont know whats wrong with him but im sure hell be ok.

Grabo was invisible but thats to be expected with the physical play of the Bruins. Bégin should play next game.

You'll better be off with glue. To pick up the Bruin's fans together. they'll need it

It's amazing how the canadiens can make a team look bad when its key players ( Kovalev, Price, Koivu ) produces.. sick.

Ugly, ugly interference, but whatever, we got two points still.
I'm in town for Saturday's rematch at home, so they'd better win that one, but I'm not sure, the Bruins are way past due for a win.

Nice win tonight for you guys, congrats...

I know I've been in here before to say this but man even-though NYR and the habs are kind of fighting for positioning right now and its not the time...I love seeing Alex Kovalev play so damn well! Here in NY we were teased by his potential and its great to see him do the exciting things everyone knew he could do out there. I logged onto TSN tonight and just read "Kovalev scores 2 highlight reel goals and adds an assist" and I couldn't help but smile.

Anyways, good luck the rest of the way boys if we don't have a shot at the top spot(very doubtful we do) than I hope you guys get it over the stinkin' Devils.

Off course, I'll just laugh when I'll compare the 08 and 09. Suddenly, in 1 year, Kovalev, Plekanek, Lat, Price and Co. will have known an incredible increase in stat.
Brutal means savage or otherwise amazing in French, but in English it means bad or horrible. Common mistake though. 84 is a good rating from what I can gather, and Smolinski is a horrible player.

Anyone else enjoy the Rangers posters? Whenever any of them come over here they are very sensible and classy. They're board is solid as well, they often have very in-depth discussions. Thanks man, good luck to you guys as well. I think the Rangers might stay in the 6th seed or maybe move up to the the fifth. I hope they stay in the 6th so there is no chance of Montreal meeting them in the first round. It truly is the only matchup that I am scared of besides Ottawa, but that's not a possible first round matchup.

I thought we played well in the 3rd period. We really shut the Bruins down.

Streit should play D before Breezer does. We have enough forwards to cover Streit's spot especially if Begin ever gets his ass back into the line-up. I thought Streit played well with Hamrlik in the 3rd. He made some nice crisp outlets passes and the Bruins didn't dominate him on the forecheck. I was surprised by his performance because he hadn't played regularily on D for awhile.

Kovy! Need I say more.

I love Kost. Jr! I love Kost Jr! I love Kost. Jr!

Kovy!

Lapierre was strong tonight. I thought the Higgins-Grabo-Kosty line had some really great forechecking shifts, especially on one that they had together in the 3rd.

Price was solid.

KOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVY!!!!

Habsinsideout is saying that Komo's injury is lower back and that he's maybe had it for awhile.

The usual stuff: Bruins are classless, Refs ridiculous and the Habs win. Kostopoulos is a gutsy guy. I have to admire him.

Does anybody in the league take a beating like Kosto ?
Has he ever won a fight in the NHL ?

It's kinda funny - the Habs has a rep of being soft.
Our one tough guy never backs down from anything but he sure can;t win a fight !

I haven't see a Hab take so many beatings since PJ Stock !
PJ would constantly get destroyed - although I admire his guts since he lasywa sfought the heavyweights of the league.

speaking of PJ Stock, I'm glad we whooped the bruins again after he's been trashing the habs all week and texting strategies on how to beat the habs PP to the bruins dressing room.

You'd think laying a smackdown on the Bruins would get old at some point, yet it's still so satisfying. Maybe it's because Bruins fans remain convinced that somehow the B's are better than the Habs.

Well, I'm glad I wore my Kovalev jersey tonight!

Although his 2 goals were great individual efforts, I have to say I enjoyed the passing between the Koivu line on Ryder's goal even more. IMO that was a great play.

The only thing that ticked me off tonight (other than the non call on the 2nd Bruins goal) was Healey's comments towards Price. It seems as though he's a bit jealous of Carey's talent. At one point he was talking about Price being a little off his game because "he's not used to playing so many games at this level"... I guess nobody told Glen that this was Price's first game since last Thursday...
