CHL: Continental Hockey League

It became official today: the Continental Hockey League got the right to organize the Russian hockey championship for the next 3 years.

The Superleague is living its last days.

Alexander Medvedev is CHL's commissioner.

The CHL will ice 24 teams, spread out into 4 divisions: 20 teams from the Superleague, another Russian club, and 3 more teams from Eastern Europe and Asia (Dinamo Riga, a team from Kazakhstan, and a still to be created club from Minsk).
