Remission. Best part of you post. Hopefully it is permanent so you can make a full recovery.

Must have been a great experience eating with Habs for the first excursion out in a year.

did you ask Smolinski if he feels out of place being on the ice?

thanks, but I'm already better... Like I said in the Fernado Pisani thread on the main board, I went under a few sugeries (I had the same thing Fernando has...) but I'm a lot better now... In fact, I'm prolly more in shape than most people... Anyways, I'm already helping out other sick people as a volunteer at the hospital and stuff like this and I love it.

I hate to admit it, but being sick, as painful and unnessecary as it is, made me another person. Too bad I come here to vent after studying, because you're all missing the great person that I am lol just kidding (oh well... )

Brisebois is one of the nicest guys (you'll never hear me comment on his play ever again unless it's a good comment) the guy is just too nice. Koivu and Kovalev are also very great. Plekanec Halak and Markov were all missing and Ryder left suddenly because of a stomach ailment so I didn't get any of their autographs or pictures. I was a like a fat kid in a candy store...

PS...I'm now in remission from Cancer and this was my first night out in a year since my first treatment. (Had to share this good news)

that's nice to hear. I'm glad to hear your doing ok and am sooooo jealous you got to meet the Habs. It is good to hear he's a funny guy, probably good for the locker room in that case.

Hey, congratulations again, and good luck with the remission!
I'm glad the Habs were part of your first night out. Koivu is by far my favourite, tell us more about him. Did he offer you any advice, encouragement, etc?

Congrats on your great news, your story is quite inspirational, and I truly hope the news continues to be positive for you.

I'm a long time lurker, and Habs fan from New England since the early 80's. Your quote about Smolinski being a funny and great guy struck a chord. I'm not such a fan of Brian, but at the end of the day, he is a human being. He tries his best etc.. Sometimes we really lose sight that the players are just like us, with a much more high profile job. I think everyone should remember that more often, and what in life is truly important.... like remission.

Good luck with the remission !

I used to work in a health food place & many of the customers were fighting cancer.
They all bought wheat grass & made juice out of it.

Apparently, wheat grass is amazing to help the body fight cancer & recoever strength.

You should check it out.
You can buy it direct from the grower where I used to work - POUSSE-MENU.

After all the negative things we all read or hear about in the news. It's great to hear something positive once in awhile.

Congratulations, you are a true inspiration to all.
