When will the playoff schedule be out?

Hey guys,

Do you know when the NHL will release the playoff schedule? I'm going to the second game in Montreal and wants to make sure I'm not scheduled to work. I guess it will be somewhere between the 11th and 13th of April, the 12th being the most probable because of the tradition of saturday night games...

Anyway, if anyone knows the info would be appreciated.

Schedule is historically released the day after the season/previous round ends.

I would think after the official seatings are done.. meaning the day the regular season ends?

Wait a minute, isn't Louis-José Houde at the Bell Centre on Friday 11th and Saturday 12th???

Could our first round home schedule start on Thursday 10th and Sunday 13th?

During our last playoff run, I went to the box office the day before game 6, and I was able to get a single ticket. I assume more tickets will be released the day before, or the day of games. If you're in the area, it's probably worth checking up on.

His show could be postponed so Habs could play 2nd home game on Saturday. Btw, LJH show is very good!

Or it could be an afternoon game on Saturday.

I doubt they change the show at this point. I'm guessing we'll play Thursday and either Saturday afternoon or Sunday night.

CBC is having a playoff round up on next Sunday, maybe the schedule release is that day?

Yvon Michel from GYM wanted to present a huge Boxing Gala at the beginning of May @ Bell Center and he couldn't because the Habs might still be alive and that's what management told him.

I would be very surprised if L-J Houde would have priority over a playoff home game to be honest.

There is a massive difference between not allowing something to be scheduled, and actually cancelling or postponing an advertised event.

Is it an option to have games on Wednesday and Thursday in Montreal?

What usually happens is that the first seeded team usually plays on the 2nd day of the playoffs, which would mean, If Montreal were to finish 1st, then CBC can host Hockey Night in Canada with Les Canadiens as the main event!

If not, there's always round 2.

More playoff tix available

Admission just released a bunch of Home game 3 tix available. However, it's the package deal with the jersey and the brick. Still, it's better than nothing for those who desperately want tix.

So you go section 315...you go to row B and you go to seat 7 or 8...it's explained pretty well in the arena.
