It will be interesting to see how we respond.... I don't expect it to be good.

Isn't that what we said after Detroit handed us our a**es on Sunday?

I understand from reading the prior GDT that my presence was sorely missed and thus created the reason as to why we lost.

Nonetheless.

Jackets Win 6-2.
Ron Hainsey Scores 6 goals for us and pots an extra one for the Hawks because he starts to feel sorry for them.

Another loss. Chicago has our number right now, and we are playing a back-to-back.

Not pretty.

Let's see, we've lost by a combined total of 13-5 in our last two against the Hawks, we're on the back end of two nights in a row, coming back from the road, with injuries galore.

Hawks 10-6 (thanks, Ron Hainsey )

I'm disturbed by the lack of faith this thread shows in Ron Freakin Hainsey.
Jackets 11, Hawks 0.

10 goals and 32 shots blocked by Ron.
1 empty netter by Dan Freakin LaCosta.

Or would you rather I just give up and cry?

I'm late to the Avatar craze but it looked like fun. I hope we punch harder tonight.

Nash with a Hat Trick.

We Win.

Ed Olcyk at least once says "somebody has to stop this."

Actually it was Eddie Olcyk that said that...

"Somebody's gotta get in there!! Vandemeer's gotta get in there!!"

I thought it was Kelly saying that as Svits beat the crap out of Keith. Thank you for the correction.

I hate games that aren't critical. I hate the CBJ losing. So I don't care, but I do.

These games are starting to feel like training camp more and more. How many NHL players will be in the lineup tonight for us?

The Jackets will play better tonight, I'd like to see a win for the attending fans. It's so much more fun in the Arena when scoring goals and being competitive, regardless of being eliminated from the playoffs.

That was without a doubt the defining moment for Svitov in his unfortunately short stint here in Columbus.

Yep, I don't know why guys who weren't known as fighters wanted to dance with Svitov.... He also beat Ryan Kesler, Richard Park and Stephane Veulliex's ***** in the same season.

Today is Rusty Klesla's 26th B-day...that should be the theme....

13 goals given up to the Hawks in the last two games against them.

LaCosta should start. After all, he has a 1.000 save percentage and a 0.00 GAA in his NHL career.

Kane and Toews will increase their point totals nicely this game.
