Graham Mink's personal blog indicates that Louis Robitaille is heading for Italy:

Quote:
Marty also told me today that Cortina signed Louis Robitaille for the year.
"Marty" is Martin Wilde, who will be playing for Cortina (Italy) this season and is a former Calder Cup Champion teammate of Mink & Robitaille.

In theory the two are largely interchangeable. When it comes to soccer, for example, the spellings of choice are Dinamo Moscow and Dynamo Kyiv despite both really being Динамо when it comes down to it. Nevertheless, Dinamo Riga is the official name as far as the hockey team is concerned.

Big difference is that Latvian doesn't use the chyrillic alphabet, and that the name is Dinamo Riga

There isn't much of a difference considering that the Dinamo/Dynamo sports society bore its original name of Динамо without any set romanization. How the name was subsequently adapted out of Cyrillic was always fairly arbitrary and case dependent. But yes, as I said, the official Latvian name of both the re-established and defunct clubs is/was Rīgas Dinamo.

Tukonen was assigned by Dallas to Tampere. He isn't in the Kings org anymore.

He's still under contract with the Stars, right? This isn't another Radulov is it?

Weird that they chose Ilves and not Ässät who they have done similar deals with...
