Sturm, I have a very strong feeling who he takes, I wonder if we're thinking the same guy/girl.

Nice. How was it? Oddly enough I know a few people who are giving up tickets for their show this weekend. Saw Ministry tonight and every muscle in my body is sore...

Not my fault ... at the middle of the night, waiting for a pick to be announced for more than 24 hours ... Having nothing else to do .... Anyway it blows.

Looking to trade down in the 65-75 range.

pit knows how these drafts go and, with a large gap between this pick and his next one, he knows what position he needs to fill here if he wants upper-eschelon talent. I think the choice is rather obvious, all things considered, but he may yet surprise me.

I think we're thinking the same thing...

Unless I've missed someone who's slipped...

If he go that way, I don't know which one he will select.

I guess there are really three possibilities, though based on the evidence, I think I know which way he'll go. I wouldn't be shocked to see you nab one of the others, Eagle.

Banishment by ****ing catapult.

At least we know pit's not staring blankly at the ATD#8 list trying to figure out his pick.

Sorry for holding things up guys, I just woke up.

Well, I drafted at number 60 after picking a forward and defenseman last draft and I'm picking at number 60 again after picking a forward and defenseman...

The Clippers are proud to select G Clint Benedict. He led the NHL in GAA six times, shutouts 7 times, helped his teams win four Stanley Cups, would likely have at least half a dozen Vezinas if they were around when he played and put up some stellar seasons in the NHA before that.

Confirmed.

The Scouts are pleased to select a player whom they felt bad watching wallow in the green room as player after player were called up to the podium. At the urging of Mr.Horton, the Scouts select Johnny Bower.

Hmmm...a run on goalies. Shocking.

You're running out of tricks, pit.

Benedict was predictable. pit got him at the exact same spot in the last draft. And he nearly won the championship with him.

Nice trade and pick, pwn. Bower's outstanding. Former ATD championship goalie. About time he went.

Pretty unreal. A bit longer than I expected, but still pretty rockin'. They put on a pretty good show.

That was maybe the most predictable pick so far. Everyone knows that reck's a huge Apps fan. And a great pick, too. One of the best players available.

Surely you don't mean the one that starred at Princeton and went on to have 4 mediocre minor league seasons before retiring in 2003? That's the only Syl Apps I know of without a moniker.
