I would hazard a guess that the other 3 recent expansion teams "histories" would not look that much more enticing - Nashville I suppose has had some luck with high-end free agents (Arnott, Sullivan, Dumont, e.g.) - but come on the team's been around for eight years.

Yeah, 7 years doesn't give you much time for turnover to build up a viable pool to draw from. I know we're behind the curve and should be better than we are roster wise(thx DM), but you look at most any team in the league over the last 7 years and you aren't going to have 4 all star lines to brag about.

What really hits home is when I see half our forwards started the season in Syracuse.
