We might not make the playoffs, but winning tonight will take alot of that pain away. This could be potentially very satisfying if we can win.

We've given you enough over the past couple years. Get 'em elsewhere.

The latest from Puck-Rakers....

Anticipating a spirited affair, Nashville coach Barry Trotz is dressing tough guy Darcy Hordichuk, who this morning said the Jackets made a mistake by trading Jody Shelley. Will have more on that in Saturday's edition of the Dispatch.

http://blog.dispatch.com/cbj/

Well, well, well. Time to man up, Jackets, and prove Hordichuk wrong.

You left out that Boll is "probable".

Rookie forward Jared Boll is expected to return to the lineup tonight for the game against Nashville. Despite a painful hip pointer, Boll desperately wants to play after watching how the game ended on Tuesday night in Nashville.

I thought that had been already mentioned in this thread; maybe it wasn't.

I would imagine that the only thing that would keep Boll out of the lineup tonight would be a broken leg.

Boll must play tonight. I don't want to see Nash get injured because we don't have a tough guy dressed.

I have mixed emotions...

but ultimately we are playing ourselves out of a chance at the #1 pick in the lottery..
this means we win I guess.

I wanted a chance at Doughty or Schenn.

Beyond the antics of Jordin Tootoo, Boll says he's just tired of seeing the Jackets lose to Nashville. His return to the lineup means the Jackets will have to return Alex Picard to Syracuse. Picard was here on emergency recall.

I don't apporve of our GDT being started by Wang fans.

As for the game, Preds win.

Is this protection for Tootoo? I thought he was a tough guy? Trotz must not think so.

Along with Nashville losing tonight, I would also like to see Edmonton lose tonight. I'm starting to like this "breaking other people's hearts" thing.

Hordichuk criticized the Jackets? How dare he!

Another person to run out of town with our pitchforks and torches tonight.

I'll have the game on tonight but won't be able to "talk" to you guys as I have 4 grandkiddies staying over. Anyway, the way I see this one is we must win it in order to salvage our pride and our spirit. So, my prediction is we WILL.

LET'S GO JACKETS !!!!!

I would agree with this. It's better off now to finish in a spot that could net them the #1 overall pick, or close to it...

Technically I guess it's true, but I think it'll help our confidence a lot next year if we finish out the season strong - and may help attract some big(ger) name players to come here...

Luck Be A Lady Tonight!

This is our game ladies and germs, ours to win, nothing to lose, everything to win. To see that sour puss expression on Jordin Tootoo's face. Let's blow up the damn death star.
