Do you think we mailed in these last two games?

Its a rather simple question with a rather simple answer, do you honestly think we played the way we were capable of playing against Detroit and Tampa Bay?

I think we could have played a lot harder and both games should have come down to the end.

I don't think we mailed it in. But I don't think we gave the effort we need to win against moderate to good teams. I'm not sure if the All-Star game was a distraction, but it could have been. This is the first time we will have a player playing since our first year.

we got taken out of both games very early by quickly falling down by 3 goals. that takes the crowd out of it, and kills the morale of the team. i'm not excusing it, but with better goaltending, i think those games could have turned out differently, at least been closer.
